I think morey covets PJ3 like cousins and Rubio for some reason if yall remember morey went to a few Baylor games this year one I know was the KU Baylor game I would love PJ3 on the rockets think Rashard Lewis but better Amir is ok but I like Ed Davis more because of the contract
Neither can play center. Bargnani is basically a 7'0" SF, and Motiejuanas will probably be a similar player. Both guys need to have a physical center to paly with, someone to get rebounds, clog the paint etc. It be a disaster- Bargs couldn't co-exist with Bosh, who's a better player than Motiejuanas, there's no way the two of them could paly together.
Bargnani maybe the worst defender/rebouder at center position, and his contract makes him worse trade piece than K Martin. Even his offense is not highly efficient like Martin's.
He's only got one more year left on his contract. I'd take him as part of a trade package with Scola going to Toronto.
Jordan Hill making 24 Mil over the next 3 seasons. I think its worth taking on Amir Johnson if the player they project at #8 is in the same caliber of player they have targeted in the past 3 drafts to move down and get. (Rubio, Cousins, & Jonas V.) If they feel that strong about that player first and foremost, you do what you need to do to get the deal done.
That's a little extreme. Granted that he doesn't score alot of points, or particular good defense. Though, I have to defend him somewhat. He's damn good shooter, doesn't turn the ball over, and is a one of better (pure) point guards in the league. Thing with him is, like Lowry he cannot be your 2nd or 3rd best player on a really good team. Moreover, he has to be on a team with a little more structure. He'd be good in Miami, because he's good shooter and there would be less defensive responsibilities for him. He'd be good in Phoenix or Utah, because he can play the point guard role well on those teams and not necessarily be expected to be the best player on the team. I doubt he'll be very expensive as well.
What about something like. . . Houston in: P. Gasol, Ed Davis Lakers in: Calderon, Scola, #8 Tor Pick Raptors in: Dalembert and Lowry Dragic Martin/Lee Parsons/Budinger/Morris Patterson/Davis P. Gasol/Camby/Donuts + #14 & #16 picks. This allows a second Medium sized trade (Martin + picks) or the flexibility to swing for the fences offering Gasol, Martin, Patterson, both picks for Dwight Howard.
Yes and no. We'd get the #8 pick and, since Toronto can take on salary without sending salary out, 6 million bucks extra cap space. The latter is definitely worth something extra.
Excellent starting page of this thread. People are talking how to get Bargnani, big that can't rebound. The same people were trashing a possible pirsuit of Brook Lopez because he can't rebound. Logic no more Actually, their pick is going to be sweat, maybe we could get it, but I really want to keep Lowry
