Should be clarified, he didn't tell the Texans he quit via Twitter. Rather, this poster is saying he heard this via Twitter. Although it would be rather fitting if he did in fact quit via Twitter. P.S. LOL @ "next Andre Johnson" talk.

he wasnt going to make the team this year anyway. too many people had high hopes. but you should know UDFAs have to earn dues in this system before they see the field, outside of some special teams duties..
I wouldn't be shocked if this was some ploy to free himself up to sign with another team that he feels he has a better chance at making the roster for.
