Rockets-Lakers-Sixers Trade Rockets trade- Ppat, Dally Get- Vucevic Sixers trade- Iggy, Vucevic Get- Gasol Lakers trade- Gasol, Get- Iggy, Ppat, Dally Pretty obvious why the sixers make this move. Turner can flourish and Gasol will definitely improve their stagnant offense. Lakers get Iggy whose skill set IMO fits well with Kobe and Bynum. Their TPE can absorb Ppat and Dally. Ppat would definitely cover a glaring hole left from Gasol's departure and Dally's a healthy 7fter with a good contract. With the salary cap year coming up, they definitely would want some flexible contracts. Vuecvic is a young 7fter with nice size, weight, and a decent offensive game. That alone is enough for me to pull the trigger. Maybe he can flourish from working with McHale.

coach, I support your strategy of trading for picks, but this one doesn't seem very much likely. D-will has only been with T-wolves for one short season and I don't see if they are willing to do that trade. However, if you put C-budinger in the trade and that could be more likely I think. P.S: I think derrick Williams has a lot of potential I think...

Maybe something with Derrick Williams and additional assets going to the Hawks for Josh Smith. Would help out the Hawks quite a bit from a cap standpoint. Can't see the Wizards doing this after just having dealt #5 (Rubio) for Mike Miller and Randy Foye a few years ago. I'd certainly do it for the Rockets, though.
The only scenario under which I see the Wizards trading their lotto pick involve (a) the Wizards losing out on the top 3 drawing (or at least the #1 pick, Davis), and (b) the trade partner agrees to take back Blatche and giving the Wizards back some talent.
Right now, I would assume that their ownership is really concerned about getting good players around John Wall to stay their with the team. If they somehow land in the top 3 in this years draft, I assume they will take a gamble on their pick. If they fall between 3 to 6 then we might have something. Something along the lines of Martin/Scola + 14 for Rashard Lewis and their #1 pick could be enticing. They get a solid group of surrounding players next season along with a healthy Nene to get a winning team around John Wall to try and keep him long term in Washington. I assume thats their reasoning for the Nene trade this past season. To get a team thats more in a win-now mode. Wall, Mack Martin, Crawford Vesely, Singleton Scola, Seraphin, Booker, Blatche Nene That team better damn well make the playoffs in the east next year.
