He indeed is someone special. To be able to guard a PG then a C...damn. I don't mind the multiple championships, as long as he works hard to get them like every champion does.
I've never hated on LeBron James. He's the most talented basketball player to watch right now. And I disagree with those who say the Miami Heat are boring. LeBron James and Dwayne Wade are a lethal combination and make the Heat awesome and fun to watch.
I had to check the thread date to ensure I wasn't responding to a thread necro. That said, OP, I don't hate Lebron, I dislike him. I reserve my hate for posters like you. I'm sure the Heat bandwagon still has plenty of room judging by their still inexplicably empty stadium.

exactly!!!! i was just going to post this. i never could root for anyone that sees the world this way.
The hate comes from several sources: 1. Legit hate from Cleveland -Die-hard LBJ fans from Cleveland felt betrayed by the Decision 2. Legit hate because he's a douchebag -Let's face it LBJ is a douche. He's amazing, but he's a douche. I think Kobe's a better person, esp. when it comes to fans. Kobe will sign autographs and is always cool about his fans, LBJ walks around with "Check my stats" shirts and is always surrounded by bodyguards. D-O-U-C-H-E. Probably Most Douchebag of All time after MJ (who is a bitter, racist POS). 3. Hate due to Jealousy -Kobe fanboys just can't accept LBJ's better than Kobe 4. Hate due to the old school "he hasn't earned it" crowd -This is mostly due to the naive baby boomers generation, who think MJ is a swell guy who does nothing but shoot "I wanna be like Mike" commercials and hits 10 pointers over 3 guys every play. I mean, LBJ dances like a clown and always chokes in the 4rth. He's the No Ring King, and get this....he joined up with Wade and became the sidekick MJ would have said no thanks and played 1 on 5 in Cleveland, and he'd still win 6 rings. Honestly, technology isn't doing LBJ a lot of favors, twitter and the internetz has exposed all the clown/dbag stuff he does that MJ was able to keep hidden. If it were still the 90's nobody would know of the stuff he does, and he can look at the camera after games and talk about heart and determination and the will to win. Nowadays, superstars are in a tough spot, they can be the good guys and appear boring/don't get major marketing deals (aka KD, TD,DRose and Dirk who probably have no endorsements apart from shoes), or they can be controversial and have lots of **** going on (like CP3, Melo, LBJ and Kobe).
It raised 2 Million for charity though. You're actually hating on a 2 hour show that did more good for the world than you will do in your entire life.
Ooops I thought you said the decision, but you just meant the Ironman 2 show. Fail! Well at least it raised 2M for the heat. They probably need it because those seats are empty LOL.
I hate Lebron the person, not Lebron the player. If he ever wins the championship, he totally deserves it for his stellar performance every game. But at the end of the day he is still one of the biggest self absorbed primadonnas to ever walk this earth.
Exactly. I think everyone admires his ability, even those who want to argue he's below MJ or even Kobe. I don't like overly arrogant douche bags though and that's my right to do so... if I worked with a guy who carried on like LBJ I would hate him too! Some people like that sort of attitude, I and many many others don't.... James fans deal with it, as I do with the fact people like him as a person.
He is the most talented player in the league. But expects the referees to be his personal assistants each and every game. He is one of the players who benefit most from dubious refereeing decisions - yet he has the audacity to complain when a foul is called against him. He embellishes flopping. He took enjoyment out of Pittman's bull***** antics. Real class guy.
They're all traded. What would you feel if Hakeem in his prime left the Rockets and joined MJ then play for Chicago?
Hate is a strong word. But do I route for him to fail? Yes. He had every right in te world to leave Cleveland. That's not the reason. It's how he handled it.
I was never a LerBon hater to start with, but even if I do, it's hard not to hate Wade more nowadays. It's amazing how one dude could be the NBA hero to a hate megadouche in less than a season. jk, i hate lerbon since his cleveland days, although it has subsided a bit this season
For the same reason many ppl hated shaq and like Duncan and Durant over Bron and Shaq. One has acted like a douche for most of his career and the other is just straight baller. Think of it this way: Lebron = Shaq Durant = Duncan
I dont hate him. Dislike him? Sure. I realize that he is the greatest player in the game right now, and he is truly deserving of his MVP. He should've also gotten the DPOTY award, but apparently a 2nd All-Defense team player got it over him. I just don't like how he handled the Decision, I don't like how he, Wade, and Bosh planned it all to go down. That damn 'pre-season' party and his arrogance made me dislike him even more. I hate how the 2010 offseason changed the league and screwed over a lot of teams that weren't big market areas. I think that Heat basketball is very boring to watch; all it is giving the ball to him or Wade and just trying to make something happen. I don't think that's good basketball to watch, no matter how many dunks or whatever James gets. I root for his team to fail. I'll be cheering for Boston to upset the Heat, and I'll be cheering for the Spurs/Thunder if the Celts don't do it.
He deserved every bit of criticism he got last year. Start to finish. From the decision to the finals press conference, what a sucktacular display of entitled naivety. Most nba star players are mega-arrogant though. Comes with the territory. Lebron was immature mixed with the arrogant. A bad combo.
