[Yahoo] Is Kyle Lowry The Best Point Guard in the BA?

Wow, how things change.

 

Things have changed but in the end i never thought lowry was a upper echelon Pg. He was having a career year and even then it was slightly above average. The bottom line is that this guy isn't that good, and with his dumb attitude we need to get rid of him. Dragic provides much more and seems to have the type of attitude you can build around.

 

But Dragic is better than Lowry. Hahaha yea right

Lowry is the heart of soul of the Rockets, wouldnt be surprised if we traded Lowry, and depending on who we acquire or W/L total actually get worse

You got that right brother, Dragic is WAY better than Lowry.

Slighty Above Average like the Best PG in the NBA His PER was 27 as well

First 15 games for Lowry healthy. 18 ppg, 9.7 rpg( for a PG). and 8.6 assists.. shooting 38% from 3, and 87% from the line

Anybody who thinks that Dragic is better than a healthy Lowry is fooling themselves. The only reason why we are trading Lowry, is because Dragic( while he is worse) is roughly the same age, and Lowry could fetch us back a HECK of a lot in a trade

This is just business and their is no Loyalty in the NBA, especially when it involves the Rockets front office

 

Anyone feel like Dragic will have the same thing happen to him in two years that happened to lowry and brooks with the Rockets

 

Lowry > Dragic

Honestly, I think Kyle is the better player and fiercer competitor than Dragic. But it just makes so much more sense to keep Dragic and trade Lowry because Dragic is a free agent.

Dragic + whatever we can get for Lowry > Lowry.

Simple logic.

 

It can't happen to every good PG we get. Can it?

 

Why take numbers from such a small scale? It's not like Lowry went down to illness after those 15 games. As expected, he dropped off after a month of great basketball. Dragic is 4 inches taller, a better defender, and was simply a better point guard this year.

Resign Dragic, trade Lowry and get value in return
or:
Keep Lowry, dump Dragic and get nothing in return

I'll go with choice 1.

 

Kevin Martin is a terrible defender, that alone removes him the upper echelon, and he is EXTREMELY soft

 

Lowry is the better defender as well. Oh and Lowry was documented, as stating he was playing with an small injury( sans the virus) in the 2nd month of the season

Either way you look at it Lowry is the better player, Dragic is a better scorer thats about it

 

The only reason you think that is because Lowry took ABs spot!

If you like Dragic more that's fine, but to su he's "way better" is incredibly stupid!

Lowry is a better overall player, we'll regret choosing Dragic over him.

 

Don't get me wrong, I love Dragic. I think we'll be just fine with him and he actually probably has a higher ceiling than Lowry.

I just think Lowry is the more proven player.

 

What is the BA?

 

Lowry wasn't a very good defender. His man got by him every posession and left our defense scrambling.

 

Simple. Logical. Yes.

I'm a Lowry man. Trade him. Because of the simple logic.
