I would be totally fine with that, but Motiejunas may not come over from Europe if there is no PT. And I don't know if Perry Jones is an upgrade over Motiejunas. I can't tell yet.

LOl the last thing Toronto need is another undersized PF, don't they have like Barg-Nani, Amir Johnson, Ed Davis etc. log jammed there.

Plus if they really wanted a good pg and get rid of Calderon's old ass, they would just throw **** load of money at Dragic instead of giving up so damn much for Lowry.

There no one on Raptors to replace Demar at the moment at the wing, no way they trade him AND the Lotto for Lowry.

That might actually do that deal, you probably could take out Patterson. They really don't need a player, like that.

They have no reason to trade DeRozan, he hasn't peak at all and they're banking on him.

I also hate to mention that they are after Dragic, and they already are trying to trade Calderon (but might hold onto him).

Its one thing to want to play and want to compete to win and just improve your game so that you can't risk sharing time with goran bc you need lowry on the court..l

its another thing to say fire the coach or i want out and either trade my competition for minutes or i want out...that is the easy, baby way out.....not a great competitor...

He never said the coach needed to be fired. He said he wasn't happy with the way it was done last season, and that it needs to be addressed.

Honestly, I don't know for sure what he's talking about. Neither does anyone else here, I'm guessing. I'm not even entirely sure that his biggest issue is with McHale and not with one of the assistants. I don't know.

Dragic was better, while Lee sort of took over admirably for Kevin Martin. Dalembert declined, as Camby came in and picked up the slack.

The Rockets still didn't make the playoffs. The Rockets problem is not necessarily a lack of a superstar, I would say they also lack depth and players who can create off-the dribble or have intimidating post game.

depends on what you're trying to be.

satisfied with just getting into the playoffs in a league where 16 of 30 teams make the playoffs? then maybe you don't need a superstar.

want to find yourself in the NBA Finals? you're gonna need a player somewhere in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd team All NBA to get that done in all likelihood.

    You are contradicting yourself.
Players who can create off the dribble or have very good post game are usually all stars or stars....or at least borderline stars

Some scouts are now saying P.Jones is more of three then a four.

So question would be is Jones an upgrade over Morris or Parsons?

Gasol and Josh Smith come immediately to mind. Both of them.

With a lock-out season, two practices a month, and virtually no pre-season?

I had not really thought about ATL as an option, but that makes some sense. Josh Smith being our target.

Absolutely. And since it worked so well last year, we should take another college PF and shoe horn him into the SF spot. And yes arguments can be made that it would work this time, but why bother?
