in october my exgirlfriend and i got bumped off of a flight from paris to austin. got a decent hotel with dinner and breakfast. got a choice of a voucher for 800 euros in travel, or 600 euros in actual money. choose the money. i need to turn those in (have a year) because the euro is crashing against the dollar right now.

This is an odd post. What have I ever plagiarized? If you're going to accuse me of something, can I at least suggest you learn how to spell the word properly? There's a difference between calling somebody an "angry Muslim" and respectfully asking a cultural question about treatment of service workers in India and Pakistan.
Usually when my flight is cancelled I ask the airlines to change my flight to another carrier. Airlines wont do it unless you specifically ask. They would rather have you wait until the next day. They don't mind putting you up in a hotel because its cheaper for them as opposed to paying the other carriers fees. At 11:00pm there are still many flights that would have gotten you home without a hotel stay. It might be because I'm a frequent flyer, but usually if they book me with another carrier, its first class. I agree with AroundTheWord. It doesn't make any sense to yell at people that cant do anything about your situation. The people behind the counter have a certain protocol that they have to follow. Its not their fault.

Instead of $50 they should have given AS a greyhound ticket. He'd be home by morning and THEN he'd really have something to rant about. Maybe even a few cool story bra's.
