The thing about AJ that you have to keep in mind is that during the first episode they said Chris Johnson had the largest drop on the list. CJ was 11 last year and I believe 97 this year. So, doesn't that mean AJ has to be on the list or he would be the largest drop? You could argue that they meant "of people on the list again this year" which could mean AJ is not on the list at all.
That means CJ fell 87 spots, from #13 to #100 this year. So, since Andre was #7 last year, it's impossible for him to be off the list. Good detective work, Mashing.
Well we are both contributors already, I don't want you to leave, and I dont have a signature yet. Sounds like a sig bet, you come up with sig verbage. Steve Smith is old, but he was a beast last year. I watched most of the CAR games, dude was top 10 last year without a doubt. I didn't put welker on the list for a reason, even though he probably beats dre in stats next year too. Calvin Johnson - most agree Hakeem Nicks - No love for nicks? He is way better than Bowe / Welker / Jennings which others have mentioned. Steve Smith (CAR) - dude finally has a QB (Delhmme was good but others SUCKED) Larry Fitzgerald - Only Kevin Walter drops less footballs  Brandon Marshall - Just what Cutler needed...this guy is going to break out AJ Green - We all saw it last year Marques Colston - Ok so maybe colston was a reach. I think he has better stats than Dre this season though DeSean Jackson - Will have his best season. Take him in the 2nd roud of your fantasy draft if he is still there! Mike Wallace - reached again here....speed, but not the reciever dre is. Has youth / health on his side though. Antonio Brown - Guy is special, he worked out with Dre and some other recievers before last season, they were doing all the same drills. I suggest people watch. He is going to be special. Dwayne Bowe - Not sure why he on here..I would rather have dre w/ 1 leg. Victor Cruz - I know he is a slot receiver, but dude is special.
Jordy Nelson (68 receptions) had 15 TDs and averaged 19 yards/catch for an offense most agreed was the best in football last year. And he didn't even start 7 games. If he's NOT on the list, it's 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 more egregious than AJ not making it. I would argue 80 is too low. Plus, he's another example of how much importance is being placed on the 2011 season as he doesn't sniff the top 1,000 after the '10 season. AJ ain't making it. And I find it interesting everyone is so sure he will - but no one has taken my bet.
Careful slinging insults if you don't own a calculator. His 2011 pace was 75/1,124. That would have been his lowest 16-game output since his rookie season. Now, some of that was because he wasn't healthy in all 7 starts; some of it was the dominance of Arian Foster. But pace-wise, he was headed for career lows across the board (plus his 9th consecutive single-digit TD total). He ain't making it.
Arian Foster dominated in the playoffs; AJ was a supporting player. re: McFadden, he was on a near 1,700-yard rushing pace through 6 games and turned in two monster, "WOW!"-like games. The Raiders were also 4-2 with him; 4-6 without him. I'm guessing he generated his fair share of attention. AJ was, even healthy, nearly pedestrian and far and away the second-best offensive player on the team, and, as we found out, less valuable than Foster and Schaub.
I think he's referring to Andre starting the season with 95, 93 and 128 yard games before going down in the steelers game. AJ was also knocking on 1500 yards in 2010 before he was shut down the last 3 games. It's a shame he's had the sprains, pulls and twists the last 2 years because he was close to making some major personal achievements. It's also a shame how quickly people forget his dominance.
He caught 25 balls for 352 yards and 2 touchdowns in 14 quarters of play before he got injured. So, there were 50 quarters left to play after he got hurt. Meaning he was on pace for... Catches: 114 catches Yards: 1609 yards TDs: 9 TDs Now, if you want to remove the hypothetical healthy Jacksonville, Tennessee, and (half of) Atlanta games and use what he did produce during those games (not fully healthy and without his starting QB) you get. Catches: 104 catches Yards: 1497 yards TDs: 6 TDs And mind you, none of this is taking the playoffs into consideration, which undoubtedly work in his favor. If you want to make a $10 tipjar bet, I'll do that with you.
More math. Even if you want to take AJ's average for the season and extrapolate them out of the 40 quarters of action he missed, you end up with these fairly respectable totals. Catches: 88 Yards: 1312 TDs: 3
You sir are a dumbass Calvin Johnson - agreed Hakeem Nicks (not anymore that he has foot fracture) - Why list him then? i'll still take AJ if nicks was healthy Steve Smith (CAR) - toss up. Aj is younger and bigger Fitz - I take aj but i won't disagree with this selection Brandon Marshall - i take aj but i'll put him in the toss up section... AJ Green - I'll take aj for next year but building for the future AJ is younger Marques Colston - LOLZ wat? are you high? DeSean Jackson - AJ all day Mike Wallace - toss up...mike wallace would not be of use to the texans cause matt S. can't throw deep. Wallace is good but AJ is a complete WR Antonio Brown / Dwayne Bowe / Victor Cruz - Brown is a stud and i love cruz but AJ is still better than all of these guys.
I was talking about the first three games where he averaged over 100 a game. The fact you think there are 10 plus wideouts better is hilarious. You make me LOL. Where do you stand on Arian Foster since he missed games and finished 5th in the league in rushing. Is he the 5th best RB. Even the game Andre got hurt he was on pace for around 100 when he went down mid way through the second.

neither brown or myers will make the list.. not big enough names and the little recognition they got this year wont put them into this list.. people need to understand how this voting process works.. NFL players are asked to list their top 20 players, how many guys in this league have brown or myers int their top 20? thats why andre is in, thats why ray lewis probably comes up the best lb on this list..
You never know. If John Kuhn can slip into a few players' Top 20 list than I'm sure Brown or Myers can too.
