Even out of sheer necessity the Rockets will have to trade some of their players for picks. Right now they have too many players and not enough rotation minutes to develop the young guys. Especially with Motiejunas and 2 1st rounders coming in. So Morey's going to deal one way or another. It's just a matter of how he does it. At the very worst, I see him trading one or more of Scola/KMart/Lowry for pick(s) to make room for developing youngsters.
Meh, I think you are correct. The rockets next year, with reasonable player development, could have 9 NBA quality starters on their team. I also don't think that they want to go into this off season having to develop 3 rookies and Morris (almost a rookie).
