I expect LeBron to take over in the 2nd half. He'll be fresh because Granger isn't making him work at all on defense. The reason the Pacers are ahead is because Vogel finally shortened their bench and gave them less time. He needs to repeat this in the 2nd half. Pacers' bench is pretty sorry for a so-called "deep" team.
I loved Barry's and Wilbon's halftime assessment of the Pacers about how after being so successful by exploiting their big men down low they decide to just start jacking up three's. The Pacers are one of the most selfish teams, everyone wants to be the hero. Whether it be a 4 on 1 or a 1 on 4 break, the guy with the ball will almost always keep it for himself and jack up some low percentage shot.
I'd be shocked that, if this goes to Game 7, Heat doesn't beat Pacers. The team is really too inexperienced and has too many kids with hero complexes.
It seems as though the Heat are getting whatever shots they want, and the Pacers have to work ridiculously hard on every possession. Wade iso is just so good this game.
pacers just keep wasting the shotclock but are either getting late 3's or late calls to keep them in the game. heat haven't been able to pull away with lebron and wade still going good. and you know the pacers 3's will keep going in so it's going to be hard for miami to build any lead. and the heat don't win one possession games so they better get a significant lead if they want to win.
I just hate that I have this feeling this'll end in heartbreak for Indiana. Damn shame. Whole series is whether or not a great team can beat an average squad with superstars.
lebron trying to make hero 3's this game instead of just working for the 2's. heat have missed some easy shots this quarter and pacers have hit some tough ones (although that 3 was open). that's how you stay in a game.
Miami making it look easy, while Indy making it look hard. Game is as good as over, with a 10 pt lead.
