There's no rivals now, as the team has been mediocre for too long and save for Scola and Lowry, I don't think there's anybody even on the team who has been to the playoffs as a Houston Rocket. Moreover, if you ask other teams in the league who their rivals are, I don't think the Rockets will make any team's short list.
I'm sorry about our lack of college basketball fandom here. You'd think that the town that once had Phi Slamma Jamma and hosted the Final Four just last year would care about CBB a little bit. As a general rule, it doesn't.
Sully at 14 would solve your problem down low. He's a man in the low post when he wants to be. There are a lot of guards available in the draft this year. I can personally say after watching Doron Lamb for a year someone will get a steal in the early 20s. Anybody who shoots 49% from the 3pt line is nice to have. I see Houston has a lot of young talent, and with the #14 and #16 picks this year, they can really add to it.

Our rivals are every western conference team except for Memphis and New Orleans. Nobody gives a damn about them.
