I'm a bit surprised both Parker and Westbrook edged out Wade. Not necessarily against it, just surprised. Only really bad one, I'd say, is Dirk, who has been...not so great. I'd have rather had Gasol or Millsap and might even vaguely argue for KG.
if you notice he is the only guy on the second team that received NO first place votes for that matter he and dirk are the only two guys between the 2nd and third team that received no first place votes. personally i am not sold on griffin yet on being a superstar -- he is a star guy but his game isnt too developed yet to rely on also got fewest votes in general i mean if all-nba is supposed to be the best players i think they should do them regardless of position so the top 5 then the 2nd 5 and so forth
1. Not really, Westbrook and Parker outplayed Wade, this season. Regardless of what Skip Bayless says, Miami's most important player is Prince James, whether he likes or not. 2. Milsapp and Gasol, along with Nowitzki and Griffin.... LaMarcus Aldridge is the odd man out, yet again.
Did Love get 1st votes for Center? 120 possible 1st team votes. I'm confused, Lebron and Durant got all but 5 in the forward category. Carmelo got 1 and Love got 16. The math doesn't add up. Love must have gotten Center votes or Durant/Lebron got some guard votes, no?
Barring the Pacers or Celtics winning a ring in 2012, it will be said again that you have to have a player finish 1st or 2nd team All NBA if you want to win a ring.
Look on the bright side. Indiana and the 76ers have combined for as many 2nd round wins has they have votes. Hibbert + Granger = 5 votes (no votes for any 76er) Indiana + Philly = 5 wins so far in 2nd round
WOW how does josh smith not even make 3rd team...but griffin make 2nd?!?!!? Parker>Paul for 1st team..for sure.
So did Jeremy Lin. And I think Kobe should have fallen off the 1st team. I'd take Westbrook over Kobe.
i like cp3 , great player but parker n westbrook outplayed him this year. parker should be first team. hes one the reasons y spurs are destroying everything in sight.
I'm not sure about that, Kobe had the Lakers on his back for a good portion of the year. That team has no fight in them without him.
