I've had the dude on ignore for quite awhile now, not because he gets under my skin or offends me, but because I genuinely think he brings zero value to the board.

...well, maybe not zero value...

...it was mildly entertaining listening to his butt-hurt remarks when DD told him Mexico sucked.

 

That's a great point. I always feel the same whenever I'm stuck in a hospital bed. "when I get out, I'm gonna be thankful everyday I'm healthy... blah blah"

or when going to a funeral for someone I knew, I think "Life is way too short. I will be thankful for everyday I get to spend on this Earth with my family, friends, etc." but those never last past 2-3 days.

I guess it's just human nature... because during that moment, you truly mean what you say. But life, with all its problems and amusements makes you forget.

 

Nothing, really. Sometimes I might have a headache... or maybe I might feel a bit sad or depressed, but then I think of all those devious things I did. I used to roll up, this is a hold up, ain’t nothing funny, stop smiling, be still, and don’t nothing move but the money. But now I learned to earn 'cause I’m righteous. I feel great, so maybe I might just search for a 9 to 5.

If I strive, then maybe I’ll stay alive. So I walk up the street, whistling this, feeling out of place, 'cause, man... do I miss a pen and a paper, a stereo, a tape of me and Eric B and a nice big plate of fish, which is my favorite dish
But without the money it’s still a wish. Cause I don’t like to dream about getting paid so I dig into the books of the rhymes that I made.

 

Manny - I just checked my paypal and because the payment I sent yesterday was an e-check payment, it said it would take 3-4 days to clear and is in a pending status. Sorry for the confusion there and I apologize for bringing up the fact that speeding and cell phone use was no different than drunk driving. I should not have said that, but my father was killed by a drunk driver and my sister was killed in a 1 car accident due to what we think was texting and driving, but we don't know for sure - so my thought on that issue are a little bit irrational I suppose.

But, for what it's worth, I sent $120 yesterday via my paypal business account and it should clear in a few days, so good luck with your recovery, but my cf.net days are over. Lebron James fans aren't welcome around here. Take care guys... And Swoly-D, you're a ****ing much bigger idiot and troll than I could ever dream of being. Tinman is right behind you. I really recommend you all to use the ignore function. I usually wouldn't do that myself but putting Swoly on ignore has been very much worth it. He is the only poster annoying enough to make me go out of my way to do this. He's obviously an attention w**** and us fighting back at his dickish remarks will not make him go away, but rather ignoring him will. He might feel some sense of entitlement thinking he beat us, but it's the opposite when you ignore his punk ass, you have to beat him at his game.

 

Think of this thread as our collective, yet DEMENTED, way of saying we're glad you are making a full recovery.

 

I'm not sure why people are mad at SacTown? Nothing he said is untrue or overly rude, especially with the explanation he gave which explains why the topic might be an especially sensitive one to him. Plus, he gave a very generous donation. Manny, maybe you could reconsider your replies to SacTown?
