Except Hansbrough actually went for the ball (and actually got the ball), not to intentionally harm the player. You can hardly call that thuggary, more like being physical which is expected in these playoff games.

Haslem and Pittman on the other hand just intentionally went directly for the players.

I can't believe you compared that play to a Bruce Bowen move. Bruce Bowen. Bruce Bowen... we all know what type of player he is and what hes about.

You're right about everything else, but this video doesn't show anything at all. Maybe it's intentional, but you can't tell at all from this footage.

As for the league office decisions, they seem fair to me. Hansbrough committed a hard flagrant foul, but it isn't worth a suspension. The retaliation fouls were not acceptable and worth suspensions, especially the Pittman one. So, sure Indiana played a physical game and I'm sure Miami didn't appreciate the fouls. Doesn't matter; their reaction went overboard.

Calling it like it is and being opinionated are two very different things. He's the latter. He lacks knowledge and insight to be capable of actually "calling it like it is."

Lol, Bruce Bowen is the new Adolf Hitler. You can't ever compare anyone to Bruce Bowen without someone waxing offended.

I don't think Haslem should have been suspended. I though Pittman should have gotten 5 games.

Hansbrough getting suspended would have been an absolute joke.

The Heat should keep their mouth shut, Wade's push in the back of Collison was worthy of a suspension yet he didn't get ****.

    Windhorst on fire today.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to pacertom again.

Wade needs to shut the hell up. He has no room to complain about hard fouls when he dished one out himself on Collison. If Hansbrough deserved a suspension (which he didn't) then Wade definitely deserves at least the equal amount, if not more. Wade needs to stop his double standard and quit whining. No wonder the Heat have so many haters.

Pacertom - Good luck tonight and for the rest of the series. I've had fun bantering with you. I'm leaving the bbs due to being attacked in another thread on whether or not I sent money to a member in a serious matter.

The NBA dish can now be the full time heat bashing dish because there will be nobody here to defend them any longer.

What I really dislike about the Wade foul, is he did it purely because he was pissed that the official didn't call a foul on his drive to the basket earlier. I'm pissed at the official, let me go truck the smallest guy on the floor who had no involvement.

No one defends the Heat for a reason. Also, no one is saying the Heat suck or the Pacers are a better team. Lebron and Wade are two amazing players and the Pacers have a collection of just good (not great) players. The Heat are a very good team due to their stars but they just aren't likable enough to actually root for them. Nothing more than that.

Exactly. And this is often overlooked. Wade didn't go after Dahtany Jones, the dude who he thinks fouled him... he went for Collison, the 6'0 PG who's 160 lbs soaking wet. Had he tried to punk Jones on the other end of the floor, then at least you can call it a frustration foul. The Collison tackle was straight up assault. If Artest did that s***, it would have been a 3 game suspension.

    SacTown,

I accept your apology. If you can be civil, I would hate to see you go. If you want to troll that's different, but you're a good dude. Do what you think is right.

Those two Heat players were targeting the players instead of the ball, that's why they are suspended and the pacer player aren't. Wade intentionally attacked a pacer earlier in the series and didn't even get suspended. How can the Heat coach and players feel they are the innocent ones?
