I don't consider myself a fanboy but really, hasn't that man earned all the acclamation he is getting? And if you are annoyed now then brace yourself for what's coming.
It was a joke, we all know you're the BBS Whipping boy, so relax.... I'm pretty sure you wouldn't say that in front of me though, be picking up your teeth on the floor...
I know a way you can avoid conversations on the topic of Nolan from those you perceive to be his fan boys on Clutchfans.
When you say, "surpass Avengers [box office]", you do know that movie's gonna surpass $500,000,000 here and is already well past $1,000,000,000 worldwide? I know, I sound like an exec from Marvel. And/or a gigantic nerd.
This movie has legs. School isn't even out yet, which should give it a nice boost. I'd say it will finish closer to 600m domestic, and around 1.4m worldwide, putting it at 3rd on both scales behind Titanic and Avatar. The new Batman will do very well. I'm looking forward to it. But it's lack of 3D and no Joker will combine to keep it well below Avengers. Again, I'll take bets on that.
http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118052357?refCatId=13 Thats 600 IMAX theatres worldwide. With prices for a ticket being about $15+ I can see TDKR reaching $1billion worldwide just like its predecessor.
I saw TDK 4 times the first week...safe to say i'll be seeing this one just as much in imax for the shots shot with the imax camera...idgaf, thats how i roll.
The great thing about this one is that there is about an hour's worth of IMAX footage. Most of any movie ever.
I'm a big fan of Ms. Hathaway, both in appearance and acting (and she's even a pretty decent singer), but this is not a particularly flattering picture of her. Looks like she's been taking high doses of Noassatall.
Cat woman just seems like a terrible idea but I'm just I'm still excited about seeing this movie. I also thought black widow woulda be horrible but I ended up not thinking it was that bad, however she had the benefit of having the spotlight taken off her
