I'm guessing Andre Johnson doesn't make the list this year. And there's no way Barwin ranks ahead of Cushing, meaning he's not making it. So unless an OL sneaks in (which is possible, though unlikely), the only other Texan is going to be Arian Foster (who will likely be top 10-20).

If Barwin repeats and Schaub and Johnson both have healthy, normal seasons - they should have a much greater representation on next year's list.

Duane Brown should make it in. The good thing about this top 100 list is that is done by the players and they do recognize less glamorous positions.

    Care to wager?

He finished 4th on his own team in receptions and missed 9 starts. You look at the WRs already revealed - Jennings, White, Green - and then consider we still have Cruz, S. Smith, Welker, Fitzgerald, Johnson to go and there is no way he makes it. None. He's not going to rank ahead of a borderline (should have been) All-Pro (Cushing).

    This isn't the Pro Bowl.

AJ will make it in on reputation.

Even with all that, there's no way they don't put him on the top 100 based on his reputation alone. They must still have him ranked pretty high since they don't have him there already.

It actually is really close to the Pro Bowl. The players are the ones that are voting and a lot of them still vote by reputation and not by just last year alone which is the purpose of the list. Peyton Manning even makes it and he didn't play a single down.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Andre made or didn't make it.

Lol AJ will not make it. He makes it ahead of Cushing for last years performance, then the list is a joke.

I don't think it's a popularity contest, you can be a very skilled player who had a down year from injuries. Just because you pulled a hammy doesn't mean players will think you suddenly suck. If anything, they understand the concept of temporary setbacks and how it doesn't change the fact that someone is still a BAMF. It really depends on how they asked them to judge this. If it is based solely on their 2011-2012 performance/stats, then yeah, but if it is based on something more comprehensive (which is what it sounds like to me), AJ will surely make it.

Again, it's not the Pro Bowl. Chris Johnson fell from 13 in ‘11 to 100 this year, and he played all 16 games and totaled 1,500 yards from scrimmage.

Andre Johnson is not making it. Anyone willing to wager? If I'm right, you have to display the following sig for the entire NFL season: “I've been brutally, embarrassingly owned by Hey Now!, who went all rhinoceros on my football knowledge and left my pitiful intellect for dead on the side of a long-forgotten dirt road on the wrong side on nowhere. That guy is awesome and I bow to his superiority.”

That's an example of a player whose performance has been declining steadily for 2 years, despite not being injured. Not a good example, IMO.

With AJ, it's not a matter of his performance, it's a matter of being on the field. So I don't think he'll take as bad of a hit.

AJ will make it if they're using the criteria I stated in my last post, if not, then yeah he probably won't.

If he makes it at all, it's a joke.

I don't think he's going to make it (he certainly doesn't deserve it) - but looking at the '11 list... Lewis and Reed were top 5? That smacks of Pro Bowl/rep voting so I could be wrong.

Andre was tearing it up before he got hurt. Whoever thinks he won't make it, is delusional. It's a player vote, and they all know what Andre can do. He will be in the top 30.

Duane Brown should absolutely be in it. If he isn't, they must not have polled enough defensive ends and linebackers.

The list is already a joke when a guy who didn't play at all last season in Peyton Manning not only makes the list but is one of the Top 50 Players of 2012
