Im not a Shaq fan, and think he's a joke in alot of different ways, but you have to admit that the guy knows the business side of the game very well. Has anyone other than Michael Jordan done more on the business side from a marketing perspective? Im not saying he is going to be able to manage a very difficult NBA salary cap and properly evaluate talent from all over the planet, but that has never mattered to Orlando in the past anyways. So maybe he's a good fit there. Whatever, at least I wont have to keep on putting Inside the NBA on full blast cause I cant understand a flippin word he says.
no, i think we are just in the "morey doesn't seem to have any clue how to build a team, so we'll take our chances with literally anybody else" camp.
Is he going to be the first GM with a doctoral degree? I'm sure he's gonna use humor in his leadership.
Could be the shortest GM tenure in NBA history. Alex: Shaq, you're hired. Here, I've got Dwight on the phone. Shaq: Yo Dwight, CAN YOU DIIIIIIIIIIG IT!?!?! C'mon boy, you in or out? Dwight: You kiddin me!?!?! Get me outa here! Shaq to Alex(handing back phone): Yo, I'm trading dat punk for my lil' boy Nate Rob and that Andres guy. Alex to Shaq: You're fired.
My thoughts exactly. Second thought was.. Did y'all see the team Shaq put together for the Rookie-Sophomore game?
yeah, and somebody was in his ear telling him each player to pick for that to boot. lol. like i said, it would be an insult to every gm in the history of sports.
