Nobody gives a **** about Rice. I'm not gonna play pee-pee games with you when it comes to Rice's sports program or lack thereof.

Doesn't change the fact we still would have hung 60 on your pathetic ass team.

I'm sure Rice will dominate in baseball against FIU and North Texas in the years to come. Go Owls! :)

Graduated in the wake of 0-0 (and 9/11, and Enron/Andersen, good stuff for business major). I remember Cade McNown complaining about the sprinkler system. I'm trying to remember if they even charged students for games back then, or maybe it was like $7.00; but you literally just walked up day of. I remember one time I started yelling at these black girls after they kept on asking to see my program after every single play, they were so apologetic and deferential afterwards I just stopped going out of guilt.

lol FIU is a damn good team

Meanwhile, Todd Whiting has come in and immediately taken the Coogs to a level of play consistent with Big East baseball!

BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHA what a failure he's been

LOL, you nerds think anybody gives a crap about FIU's behemoth baseball program?

Sorry I accidentally mentioned a good team, but as anybody with a degree from Rice can tell, the FIU/UNT mention was a dig at your future conference-mates in the warm pile of college athletics afterbirth known as Conference Herp Derpa Blerp or whatever the hell it's going to rename itself once we leave.

I'm sure Old Dominion or Louisiana Tech plays a mean stickball too, LOL!

Gonna survive longer than that unholy abomination of freshly minted DI programs and directional schools, that's for sure, ROFL!

 we're losing two directional schools and gaining one.

And what are the "newly-minted" D1 schools? As far as I know all the new schools have been D1 for quite some time. I didn't do all the research on this, so please correct me if I'm wrong. TIA!

I'm just glad we're getting rid of that commuter school across town. Hopefully their replacements can provide more of a challenge for our baseball team. We've now schit-stomped UH in 20 of the last 21 games. I don't even think the Yankees could beat Lamar High school 20 out of 21 games.

    BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA

hahaha, well I wouldn't go that far. I liked the current mix of schools in CUSA, and while UH et al will be better off in the Big East overall, I don't think CUSA is really any worse off with the new schools, especially baseball-wise.

And yeah, Donny picked an odd spot to poke fun at the new conference mates, as we've probably beaten UH at a better clip than we have anyone else in CUSA. Also, UNT doesn't play baseball, which is what I thought he was trying to get at, but then FIU turned out to not only have a team, but a pretty good one, so I dunno. I'm rambling but POINT IS, it would be almost impossible for any team to do worse against us than UH has over the past few years.

INB4 "nobody cares about baseball LOL!"
