If Miami is going to lose Bosh you may have to include Dalembert, but in this trade scenario it is probably a good thing to get him off the books anyway so you can resign Camby. Resign Dragic & Lee also: Dragic / ?? Lee / ?? Parsons / Bud / Morris Bosh / Patterson / Montie Chandler / Camby Impressive team with the only weakness the guards off the bench. Maybe Ish Smith could be the backup point. Bud could possibly play the 2 off the bench. Well thought out trade proposal, however as the poster above mentioned, the Amare contract is woeful, but it might be the best offer Orlando get, they would certainly stay competitive and wipe $13mil off the books when Martin expires.
This one is really ridiculous, but I'm bored  http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7p3uu5z Rockets: Andrew Bynum & Pau Gasol Lakers: Dwight Howard, Hedo Turkoglu, & Patrick Patterson Magic: Kevin Martin, Luis Scola, Kyle Lowry, Marcus Morris, #14 & #16 via Houston
Yeah man, I know what you mean. The Amare contract is awful, but I thought moving Hedo's contract would somewhat compensate for it. But ya, if Martin doesn't work out, he doesn't have a long contract.
Cap Space for Lamar Odom, Roddy B and #17 pick. Dallas wants to dump Odom's money and we could be predatory and scoop up two extra assets to use in any big trades. http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2012/5/24/3040590/lamar-odom-trade-dallas-mavericks-salary-cap
What cap space? (edit: this can only happen after July 1). And DAL ain't giving up that much for 2.6 mil.
Well it would also be Roddy and the pick salary We could amnesty Scola, waive Daly. Couple of options here.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=cgcztuy NY pick and Dallas 1st go to LA as well. Keeps LA from experience salary cap hell by waiving Dally and having Martin expiring contract. Patterson would fit well with Bynum. The Hawks would get something out Smith instead of him walking away. Sign Dragic, Lee, and Camby back Dragic/Teague Lee/Bud Parsons JSmith/Donuts Gasol/Camby Not too bad. Probably 4th in the west.
I'm sticking to my guns on this trade proposal. I think it's a great deal for us: HOU gets 9th Overall Pick (Arnett Moultrie, PF, Mississippi State) 33rd Overall Pick (Evan Fournier, SG, France) Draft St. John's SF Moe Harkless with 16th Overall Pick we still own DET gets 14th Overall Pick 2014 1st Round Pick Chase Budinger Marcus Morris CLE gets $500,000 (from HOU) 39th Overall Pick (from DET) In a separate deal, buy the Washington Wizards' 46th Overall Pick and select Gonzaga C Robert Sacre. Offer Roy Hibbert 4 yrs/$48M and hope he accepts.
No Vertical Leap, Check Over Weight, Check Below the rim player, Check No Real Defense, uncheck...he doesn't get moved off the block, a steal machine....he just doesn't rack up a ton of blocks. No consistent rebounding, I'll give it to you that. I hate it when he's inconsistent and grabs 14, 16, or 18 rebounds.
This may be getting more realistic by the day with more news that Dwight wants out and the Rockets are extremely interested in even a rental. If the news about the Rockets almost having a deal before Dwight opted in is true, that means that Orlando had liked our offer and was about to accept. I would do this. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=d5vqvzq Trade Kevin Martin, Luis Scola, Samuel Dalembert, Marcus Morris, Chase Budinger,14th and 16th overall draft pick For Dwight Howard and Hedo Turkoglu Then, we sign Deron Williams. Trade Lowry to Toronto for their pick. Draft Jeremy Lamb or Beal if he drops (unlikely) PG Deron Williams/FA SG Courtney Lee/Jeremy Lamb SF Chandler Parsons/Hedo Turkoglu PF Donatas Motiejunas/Patrick Patterson C Dwight Howard/Marcus Camby
Our offer was good for half a year and im sure it included lowry back then... a full year rental and the price is steeper with more competition... besides lakers look ready to build the next dynasty with dwight for bynum/???? And a sign n trade with deron for gasol... although lakers dont have.much other than bynum... would atlanta move jsmooth and others? What about nyk with chandler and amare.. does orlando want that uninsured contract?? Im not seeing it for us anymore... unless we land a top pick were screwed on the dwightstakes...
