Shows you LeBron got snubbed from getting DPOY. All-Defensive teams are voted on by coaches (who are obviously more knowledgeable) while DPOY is by the media I believe. Tyson Chandler didn't even make Defensive first team.

Finally, Kobe didn't get another undeserving 1st team selection, they still had to throw him on the 2nd team roster.

Chandler got snubbed from first team. Dwight wasn't as worthy given his performance this season.

    Kobe? For defense - yikes.

Hey look, is that another OK city player blowing by him again?

    Lebron should have been DPOY.

I believe coaches vote for the all-defensive teams, and the media votes for defensive player of the year, but correct me if i'm wrong.

Is this the first time in history that the DPOY does not make the All-Defensive first team?

No, it happened to Dikembe in 94-95 and Alvin Robertson in 85-86.

While LBJ should have been DPOY, it actually shows coaches don't give a damn. Paul over Rondo is terrible. Kobe didn't belong on either team.

I don't understand Paul. He is great at stealing and drawing offensive fouls, but I think there are better defensive guards out there.

    And no Iggy?

Paul got it for flopping, and Kobe's inclusion is almost always a joke.

    DPOY only on 2nd team...
Kobe on 2nd team, over guys like Shumpert, Iggy, George,...
    CP3 over Rondo or Conley.

    Great job, voters.

Despite having Kobe on it, the 2nd team is better defensively than the first team IMO.

what is this crap? super slow kobe bryant on the second team? He played hardly any defense in the OKC series. I'd rather have shumpert on defense over kobe any day

Iggy never gets the recognition he deserves. I can't believe how much he flies under the radar.
