Sorry to hear about the c-section. Recovery from those is rough (my wife had two). But congrats! Cute kid.
Awesome, congrats! Let us know when you leave the hospital.....and how that first night goes..........(man, are you in for it). These 4 words will make the next 6 months a little more bearable: Spoiler SLEEP WHEN HE SLEEPS My boys turn 9 months tomorrow. Seems like just yesterday we were leaving the hospital. The days go by slow, but the years go by fast. Or so I'm told. EDIT: Also, when the nurse asks you if you want the baby to sleep in the nursery......SAY YES. And get as much sleep as you can....before you go home...
did you at least have plenty of sex trying to induce labor? this was never confirmed. congrats on the new life form
Oh yes, the glorious days of the hospital. You miss that nursery when you go home. My oldest had problems sleeping. My youngest was a great sleeper and almost never cried.
Good points, ima. I am still stuck in the hospital because of these really painful tummy muscles, etc. I am having them bring him to me for feedings but otherwise keep him in the nursery. They can keep a better eye on him there anyway, at least until I am more mobile to do more stuff for him. I actually expect to get more sleep once I'm out of the hospital. Not that I mind/care yet at this point. But they are in here every 20-30 minutes for something so it's not like you ever get to rest. Y'all may know how it is.
