Castor Oil Dehydration Doctors won't recommend either. Walking Sex Doctors will recommend. Our youngest we tried to induce labor in every way we could at about 36 weeks. I really wanted that tax deduction/credit. That jerk stayed in until 38 weeks. We had actually been to the hospital twice previous to his birth for premature labor (We weren't trying when either event happened).
Thanks guys! My husband thinks the baby must have heard about the upcoming circumcision and that's why he refuses to come out. They will induce tomorrow morning. Thank goodness; get this over with. Not sure when I'll be able to post afterwards, but will try to let y'all know when I can.
Good luck tomorrow, Isabel. Try to get some rest while you're in the hospital. If they have respite, take advantage. Sleep will soon become one of the most precious commodities in the world.
Bumping this one more time, to tell you... we have a new little Clutchfan! It's a boy, a little less than 9 lbs, and... born by C-section. They tried inducing, thought I was a good candidate, but the contractions never got strong enough and the dilation stayed where it's been for a few weeks now. The reason perhaps is how big he is... only two days past the official due date. He might well be playing basketball in the future. Not a fat baby or anything, but fairly long, big feet, and hungry, before he left my tummy and even now. He has shown a calm and even temper so far and is easy to interact with and get along with (fingers crossed it stays that way). I know I've always been a private person on clutchfans and will continue to be so now, so not sharing names etc. However, a baby pic can't hurt. I am still amazed that my husband and I made this little person: Thanks for all your good wishes! This is the greatest blessing and best gift I have ever received.
If you've done a traditional "placenta eating" custom... (no, no posting that either for the board's enlightenment) Just congrats!
No placenta recipes, sorry. (couldn't have anyway, on a liquid diet after the C section, lol) I do hear they look gross. From a friend's husband who watched her C section, and I'm sure when mine has time he'll tell me more than I want to know about what mine looked like. They probably knew what they were doing when they put up a curtain between my head and the rest of my body so I couldn't see it, lol.
