I'll repeat what was just said in the telecast. 42-24. 12-3 coming into the playoffs. They're better than the Mavs, Jazz, Clippers and not marginally worse than the Lakers. Miami should count their lucky stars if they win this in 6 minus Bosh. That would be a nice accomplishment actually.
Vogel would be smart to not play Barbosa another minute in this series. He's been dreadful. 29 points off 40 shots. Just mindless chucking. Pacers are gone in six if they can't figure out a way to get Hibbert going.
Thank you for speaking the truth here Cat. Some of these guys in the NBA dish prematurely ejaculated all over themselves after game 3 as if the Pacers were some sort of super team. There was even a thread in the Rockets forum that said Morey should build a team like the pacers. The Heat were unmotivated and feel asleep in game 3, other than that this series has been one huge mismatch, even without Bosh.
They coulda won this in 5 if they simply made their free throws, then they fell asleep in game 3. This is one huge mismatch, like I've been saying since day 1, EVEN WITHOUT BOSH. Heat haters can't see the truth through their blinders.
Miami playing amazing but they can't do this against the Celtics. They've relying on overplaying every pass and trapping which works against a bad passing team heavy iso team like the Pacers. This won't work against the Celtics at all. If Rondo is focused, Miami is still in trouble.
This. Miami is just having a field day against an unorganized, disoreinted team like the Pacers. Won't work vs the Celtics, OKC or SAS
Yes, that's very possible. I could easily see that happening. Were you one of the ones who said the Pacers were going to beat the heat? If so, GTFO.
Maybe, but The celtics are playing like a new team. They can counter all the Miami attacks and provide their own.
How can anyone call the Pacers mediocre? Look up the word mediocre...yeah that doesn't fit the Pacers. No team still playing is 'Mediocre' The Rockets are mediocre, not a team that makes it to the 2nd round proving to be better than more than half of the other teams.
This. You make it to the second round of the playoffs and take two games from a championship contender? Not mediocre. Pacers are just unlucky that James and Wade decided to wake up at the same time.
