He'd be perfect for Charlotte, as they need a tough as nails coach.

Orlando is a dead end unless Howard is gone.

He would be really good for the bobcats... they need a tough minded coach. Even if he did coach the jazz Hes better then a lot of other prospects they have.

The fact he's talking about it publicly to a newspaper means he's probably not a candidate for either position.

Sloan does not need to be in the NBA again, he needs to be in hospice care. Ancient, bitter old man gets no respect from myself. This is coming from the guy that cheered when they announced Jazz owner Larry Miller had passed away before a Rockets game. I wasn't the only one cheering but I was the loudest.

I'm sure he is open for more teams, but he is only answering questions regarding current coaching vacancies.

There's much more attratcive options for him. Such as the Blazers for example.

Why would the Bobcats or Orlando want to hire a guy who's been coaching an WNBA team for decades?

That would be a wonderful situation for the Bobcats to get them going. They to make that happen.

I think I'm a changed man now and I'd apologize to Larry Miller himself, but you know...

I agree, as much as I despise the Jazz Sloan is a world-class coach.

Yes, a WNBA coach that's owned the Rockets for well over a decade.

Sloan is so old school. Didn't he quit because he could no longer take the current crop of prima donnas he had to coach? I don't know if that has changed much.

But I think that whatever team that can bring him out of retirement will be a better team.
