Government Teacher Tells Student He Could Be Arrested for Talking Badly About Obama

Of course he deserves respect? The part of the video I heard I couldn't even figure out what the boy said that was disrespectful. All I know is the kid wasn't the one getting hysterical and wasn't coming across like a total fool.

What did the "snarky little white boy" do that deserved discipline? Aside from being white which I bet is problem number 1 in your mind.

 

This isn't even remotely comparable. They were discussing the news story about Romney bullying a kid and this student says that Obama did the same which sends the teacher into a defensive battle with the kid. I really don't see how the student did anything disrespectful here.

If students aren't allowed to discuss the president beyond saying he is a wonderful man, then perhaps the class should avoid discussing presidential politics at all?

 

Actually have a bigger problem with you being a dumb ass white boy as y'all usually end up running ****, qualified or not. All I said was that the campus rulebook usually gives teachers discretion to silence or discipline kids for saying just about anything. If she'd have used it properly she could have gotten him to be quiet, not created an actionable teacher incident or projected her own flaws.

Actually watched every minute before commenting, and never said he needed to be disciplined, but easily could have been in a less controversial manner.
