    The area around Staples is pretty nice. My brother and cousin lived at some condos called Glo. Farmar bought a nice pad right next to it when he played in LA.

    I'm not trying to compare the beaches to Fiji, Tahiti or even Hawaii. It would be nice to live close to beaches that are 6/10. Galveston must be -4/10.


    I like the environment of LA. Great weather. Cute chicks. Herb-friendly. The traffic sucks but that's the case anywhere worth a damn.

    I doubt LA residents are traveling to OKC and shooting people regardless. think about it.

    if these are alleged Laker fans, they are bandwagoners who are OKC locals.

    don't get me wrong, I hate bandwagoner LA fans in other towns just as much, but here we are comparing Galveston to Malibu in this thread.

    You wouldn't believe the word of the OP who claims to have "heard on ESPN radio" that Laker fans don't travel to Middle america for semi-final playoff games and start shooting down pregnant women in the streets out of frustration over losing?

    It must be sad going through life as such an obstinate, incredulous old codger. Remind me not to take you on my unicorn hunt this summer.

    The whole thing is still in speculation even for ESPN broadcasters. We really don't know if the shooters are Lakers fans but it is extremely likely. Think about the timing of this, it happens right after the Thunder won.

    I agree we can't rule out the fact that the shooters can be bandwagon Laker fans who live in OKC though.

    I remember the fiirst time I was shot by a Lakers fan. It was in 1986 after the Rockets won the WCF.

    I was walking home from school when a Lakers fan emerged from a garbage can in my subdvision.

    He then pulled out a .44 magnum and shot me in both kneecaps.

    It was broadcast on Radios around the country.

    there are plenty of great beaches here - just dont go to the main 'tourist' ones

    i am also guessing a lot of the hate comes because LA has this

    And AGAIN I have YET to see any article stating that it was Lakers fans that started this whole thing. Total speculation, there are idiots in every town not just LA.
