Kobe has a lot of pride. I think he doesn't want to be viewed as the 2nd option. The next couple seasons will be interesting for the Lakers, as Kobe declines and Bynum gets better and better.

The Lakers would be better if they Amnestied Kobe and just let him walk, or traded him away, before he become Allen Iverson and cancerous to his teamates as he declines. DD
You fail to see that Bynum as young as he is, is cancerous too in another way. There are more problems. Brown not being the best coach.....Mediocre bench
