The Thunder have a lot of heart. The Spurs have a lot of skill, and their not athletic at all. Kobe was the only one on that entire team who had heart in that series. If I were the Lakers I would trade Bynum to the Rockets for absolutely nothing in return... But seriously, the Lakers need to figure out how to make it work. You have two of the best 7 footers, and an aging, but savvy-veteran in Kobe. That is a much better "Big 3" than the Heat. The only "Big 3" that compares is the Spurs' Parker, Ginobili, and Duncan. Bynum just looks uninterested and slow and some points, at others he dominates, 7 years in the league you would assume he would have garnered some consistency by now.
As much as I hate the Lakers, I enjoy watching Kobe play. His footwork is like no one else in the NBA. Kind of like watching a modern day Dream play (but as a guard). Sure he jacks up a lot of shots and complains, but he's fun to watch.
Can he play soccer as Dream used to? and I think MJ would disagree about the looks but that's too homo
HAPPY DAY! =) Nothing could make this a better day than seeing Kobe eliminated. =) Finally father time starts to take his toll and his teamates let him down too. =) Zip-a-dee-doo-dah Zip-a-dee-dehh My my my my my what a Wonderful day! Plenty of sun shine Headin' my way Zip-a-dee-doo-dah zip-a-dee-ehh Oh Mr. Bluebird on my shoulder It's the truth and it's actual Everything is gonna be satisfactual Zip-a-dee-doo-dah Zip-a-dee-ehh Wonderful feelings Wonderful day
Maybe just a... on a serious note, some people like the sport of basketball as opposed to a 1-on-1 clearout game of heroball
I must admit, having lived in Los Angeles during the early 2000s and having watched Kobe his whole career, these past two seasons have been tough. I just expect Kobe to be dominant throughout the playoffs. It is weird for the Lakers to be first or second round fodder. New era.
Kobe can't carry a team anymore, and he fails to notice that and adjust his game, he is pretty much their biggest problem, right now. DD
If Kobe realized that he had to very good 7 footers on his team and he didn't need to take 30 shots at a 40% clip then maybe the Lakers would still be alive.
