What's his value as a RFA?

RFA, maybe $3.5 million per for a couple-few years. But he needs playing time badly. Poor dude will never get much chance to develop.

What if, he doesn't get playing time because he sucks?

I'm not saying he's the end-all be-all, but he showed some skills in GS.

Playing backup to Love and DWilliams, well, he won't develop much.

Sometimes players die on the vine. Isn't it said bigs need more time to develop?

I really think he doesn't get playing time because his attitude sucks. Of course, that's a big problem. Gotta get the attitude right. However, he has been unduly penalized over it. Compare his attitude to Melo's. One got playing time, the other didn't. But their attitude's are about the same. They both get negative when things don't go their way, they both sulk and pout like babies.

However, on a talent level, he's got the talent. If he were given a consistent 36 mpg on a good team, he'd put up 20/10 with 3 blocks or so. He has all-world athleticism and a multi-dimensional skillset.

I'm not touting him, nor do I see the immediate need for him on the Rockets as long as we keep one of Patterson/Motie on the roster. But if we were to trade away both of those guys, I'd be interested in bringing this guy in and seeing what we could do with him. I think he could develop Josh Smith defensive skills to go along with a very skilled offensive game. I don't know if he will ever get his attitude right. But I do know he has all-world talent.

At this point he is the kind of untapped talent that Morey has to take a shot at....think a better version of TWill.

I'm no expert on Randolph by any means but I work with a guy who is a huge GS fan. He thinks the guys going to be a player when he gets to the right team. Hated when they traded him, felt they were giving up on him way too soon.

I've always liked AR and think he definitely deserves a shot. I'm not sure if he would get enough playing time here, though. Can he backup PF and C? If so then he's easily worth $3.5.

And probably would end up sitting on the bench like Terrence too.

He's the kind of player Cuban picks up cheap.

I was thinking the same thing. Randolph obviously has talent, I just don't think the light is going to turn on. Not much between the ears, so what's the fascination?

Unless our GM grows a pair and starts telling our coaches that we need to play the young guys and live with the results.

Unless Les starts telling Morey that playoff is less important than developing young talent.

True, I guess DM is not a leader after all, and is as I thought, a follower.

Somebody from Johns Hopkins, or the Royal Medical Society needs to examine you right away. You have mastered the ability to talk out of your ass. Incredible!

I would take a chance on him only because he is still pretty young.

He'd thrive on a team, like the Lakers, Celtics, Magic, or Heat.
