I'm hearing that current VP/Chief Strategy Officer Chris Dacey, who has been with the team since the 06-07 season, is leaving the Rockets -- he's still with the team for a little bit longer but is transitioning off. And there is a job posting seeking a new CSO for the Rockets.

I met him on a few different occasions, even have a business card of his. That's too bad to see him go. Good luck to him and whoever the new CSO is.

What do you think the pay is for a position like this? How much interaction is there with DM? Where is Dacy headed now?

Anyone have any idea what Strategy Research Intern's day to day duties are? I applied just for the heck of it, although I do already have an internship lined up for this summer.

If you're working for the Rockets, you probably won't have time/ability to watch the games. You are usually running around the arena or located on the concourse with at most access to a tv broadcasting the game.

    Chief strategy:

Un-f*** the team from internal mediocrity.

    I'm ready for the j-o-b.

    When do I start?

Why not hire 2 people and have them split a salary and share benefits?
