Maybe if Paul just went to finish the play, he'd had put up a better shot than that.

If Griffin could make a 15 footer, imagine the ez PnR Clips can do for situations like this. Sigh

It disappeared with his entire game this series. I know he's hurt, but a hobbled Paul is better than this.

Sad thing is a 2nd round appearance will most likely save Del Negro's job. Frustrating if you're a Clips fan.

And thing is: Spurs are peaking right now. 18 straight wins. It could be the Patriots version of basketball. Can they keep it up through the WCF and Finals offensively? B/c they need that offense to win it all.

Well he's partially hurt any ways. It's not all him, the Clippers just weren't on the same level as the spurs as far as execution, coaching, defense....well everything.

If CP3 had played decently yesterday and hadn't blown it late just now, this could be 2-2.

He must have been injured because the contrast him between playing the Grizzlies and Spurs was massive. He fell off the wagon.

Yup, if you look at the boxscores for the Spurs this playoffs, no one has played more than 38 minutes. Their depth is amazing, got a lot of amazing young players and backups that Pop can trust to play.

You can't be hurt that much to have a game like this off a b2b. I don't know if he ran out of gas the first 3 games after a draining 7 game series or not. But his teammates showed up, esp. Griffin and Bledsoe.

But you're right, Clips should have played for a 2-2 tie tonight, not looking to save their season. Hell, even game 2 was close after 3 quarters. CP3 was vastly disappointing this series.

Anyways, Clips have a bright future. 2 things must happen:
    1) Blake Griffin needs to take a leap.
    2) Fire Del Negro.

I wouldn't say so. OKC will score v. this team. Durant will have a field day. But can they "contain" the Spurs a little bit? I think so.

He was injured during games 6 and 7 of the Memphis series. You can tell he was running on fumes since then. His groin never really got a chance to fully heal at the end of the season and then he aggravated at the end of game 5. Spurs vs Thunder is going to be real interesting.

Also, VDN proving he's an idiot by subbing the white hot Bledsoe out for Mo Williams in the last crucial minutes of the 4th quarter.

Be a realist. It's not an auto-win for OKC.

It pisses me off that the Grizzlies had to be such huge chokers. They would have been a lot more competitive against the Spurs.

Bledsoe wouldn't have even seen the ball. The offense has to go through Paul, anyway.
