Spurs vs. Clippers - 2012 NBA Playoffs

I think it's more a matter of effort. Spurs don't really care.

 

They're shooting 54%. 22 assists on 30 baskets. No, they're very sharp.

The Clippers are just playing desperate. And CP3 is finally being CP3.

 

maybe in the first two quarters...but third quarter was very competitive and CP3 finally came alive. Im sure Spurs will back to their old selves in game 5.

 

Then its probably Spurs not defending as well. Blake and CP3 got lot of baskets in the third. Although you could attribute that mostly to CP3 finally being aggressive.

 

The Spurs aren't elite defensively, and the Clips have shot a good % v. this team. Their problem is all on CP3. CP3 has looked like a scrub the first 3 games.

This CP3 plays and every game would be down to the wire.

This is why a think a team with superstars + great D can beat this Spurs team. A CP3 at the top of his game would have this series 2-2 by now.

 

The Spurs have built their defense to nuetralize CP3 and let everyone else beat them.

 

And CP3 hasn't faced that his whole career? And the Clips' D isn't good enough to neutralize anybody. But Clips should have easily won game 3 if CP3 showed up at all. And they should be going for 2-2 tonight rather than 3-1.

And Bledsoe has a VERY bright future. He's not going to back up CP3 for long.

Teams gotta attack the Spurs defensively. They were an average defensive team all season, allowing teams to shoot 46%. You can't settle for jumpers. CP3/Bledsoe are just attacking constantly.

The clips can't shut the Spurs' offense, so you gotta score to keep up and pray CP3 delivers in the clutch.

Man this Clips' D is terrible with its rotations. When the Spurs 3pt shooter shoots, no one is in the damn vicinity to even close out. Just terrible.
