If UD can just make 40-45% of those open jumpers, they can withstand Bosh until the Finals. But that's highly unlikely.
That LeBron drive where he dished to Haslem for the elbow jumper was the exact same play earlier in the season that the Heat needed for the game-winner. The difference is that Haslem missed it and LeBron became the goat for not taking the last shot. Haslem actually made it this time and that was a dagger to the Pacers.
Down five with 25 seconds left and your go-to play is George Hill with an awkward floater? Either go straight to the bucket and see if there's a layup, or give it to Granger and let him create. That was ridiculous.
They can, regardless. The East once Rose went down became a complete joke. The Heat shouldn't even think about bringing Bosh back until the Finals. None of the three mediocre teams left - Pacers, Celtics, and Sixers - can beat the Heat four times out of seven. Bosh or no Bosh. Miami will have its down moments, but I just don't think any of those three clubs is good enough.
3 game series now. Pacers still have a shot at this but this was their shot at putting their foot on the neck and making a point.
This. The Pacers bigs didn't even show up today. Unfortunately, the Heat have HCA in a best-of-three series now. I think the Pacers can still win, but they definitely have their work cut out for them.
If Lebron has to play at this level (D-Wade too) to win a game, good luck with the series Heat. PS: What a game from Lebron though. Amazing stuff.
