hansbrough with a 20 footer, collison with a steal and stupid foul by cole. man. james jones has a wide open 3 to make it an 11 point game, brick. 38 straight points for 2 players, is that a record?
Well, Pacers survived a huge Wade/James offensive explosion, and they're only down 6. Hibbert and West can probably rest about four more min with their foul trouble, but then need to come back in soon.
That was a bad last minute for the Pacers. I mean, it's not over... but Collison missed the free throw, then Hansbrough had either a layup or kickout for a corner three and found a way to travel, instead. That was a real opportunity to knock the wind out of Miami's sails - have it a one-possession game after everything they did - and Indy didn't finish. Missed opportunity.
Pacers only hope to win this is LeBron getting tired. They completely disintegrated in the 3rd quarter. Pathetic. Hansbroughs fumbling is symptomatic of the team.
the game changer was the play before when james jones had a wide open 3 to keep the run going and bricked it. because he's a heat role player. i still think indy wins this fairly comfortably. wade and lebron had to both go beast mode at the same time to get a whopping 6 point lead going into the 4th. no way they've got that in them for another 12 minutes. and unfortunately they need that to win.
Amundson has absolutely sucked this game. Pacers need to exploit the West vs. Battier match up more by working for a deeper position and not at the high post.
Tom Haberstroh @tomhaberstroh LeBron with 33 pts, 9 rebs and 8 asts already. No one's hit those numbers through three quarters in last 15 playoffs. He can't afford to get tired.
