granger gets up in wade's face, no technical. shocking. couldn't get that ratio below 2 to 1 on the free throws. edit: well, nevermind. they actually stepped up to the fake tough guy granger. and of course wade missed it.
And this is Stern's legacy. Affecting the officiating to where players and fans think it's a defensive foul when an offensive player initiates contact close to the rim. Hibbert went straight up. But thanks to that BS circle, people think (and refs call) it as an automatic foul. Tilting things to showcase talents like Jordan made the league more popular, but led to our getting embarrassed in the Olympics and devolved the game to where guys like Wade and James make a living off of officiating welfare.
Hubie Brown should just shut up. There was NOTHING wrong with that foul. Hibbert wanted to make absolutely sure Wade wouldn't finish.
Damn, Wade is really strugglin' out there right now. Granger might not be as good as LBJ or Wade, but damn he's got some balls.
ridiculous floater by barbosa to end it. just the way things are going for miami right now. no idea why spoelstra had wade shoot the technical with chalmers on the floor. another bad move in a string of them.
Well, on second thought, not a flagrant. In those situations I always think of international ball where that would have been an unsportsmanlike foul.
He did, but with 12 seconds left it's better to just let him have that then add on another foul. If the refs decide to call ticky tack stuff then all of a sudden hibbert's in foul trouble.
