The game is pretty much the big 2 of the Heat vs the frontcourt of the Pacers + their bench. It doesn't look good for the Heat, but I'm banking on the Heat treating this game, as if it were the last game they ever play.
is wade even going to try? he already let george go around him for a steal and fastbreak and then just got out of the way to let george save that ball back to his teammates. throw in lebron missing 2 short shots and the rest of the role players just taking turns turning the ball over and miami is almost lucky to only be down 9. looks like a pretty easy blowout. if spoelstra is smart he won't wear lebron down trying for a futile comeback.
It's all about the Pacers frontcourt. If their bigs establish a dominance it's over for the Heat. Miami is under serious pressure to score 90+...but they can't afford to press too hard playing hero ball.
The problem is they don't seem to have set plays they can rely on - almost every possession is swing-swing-1 on 4 drive to the clogged paint.
Outside of LBJ and Wade (and Bosh), that Heat team is atrocious. The only collection of talent (or lack thereof) more embarrassingly bad than their collection of players is the Bobcats.
maybe wade can just start kicking it at the basket. can't be worse than whatever awkward and way off target shots he's shooting now.
