This is Kobe. He's always been that way. He's never trusted anybody else with the game on the line. You don't watch the Lakers much, eh?
I really thought OKC had no chance coming back in this game. This young team is really growing up and the sky is the limit. If Phil Jackson wants another gig in the NBA next year, OKC should his first choice, not Miami. The Lakers did run out of steam in the 4th. Kobe became a jump shooter again after constantly attacking the basket for most of three quarters. Bynum basically ran out of gas and failed to grab a single rebound in the final minutes (put-back by Perkins was big). I think this is it. OKC in 5.
but i thought kobe was the best closer in the game and didn't miss anything in the 4th quarter? maybe Rockets Pride will start a "Kobe chokes again" thread.
Which is why he's Pau Gasol I guess. It was a open open look, I'm guessing Kobe wanted him to take the shot since he was so open and Kobe did turn back and say something to him after the turnover. Even if Kobe doesn't want you to take the shot...that is about as easy as it gets. He makes that shot more often than not. He has to have the guts to take the shot.
i don't get all the digs on Lebron. he's actually showing. where's the hate for Wade, who's always crying about something and scoring only 5 points? it's like some of you just have to criticize lebron because it's the cool thing to do. as for the game, Durant was a monster. clutch 3. but he had alot of help.
And although I'm a big fan of Harden, I have to say he needs to play better. Dude is sucking it up on both ends.
Kobe is a good closer except when he gets tired. All throughout the 3rd quarter I kept thinking (and hoping) his jumper would die in the 4th quarter. I also was clapping that Mike Brown didn't give Bynum a rest in the 3rd. OKC actually got away with guarding Bynum with Ibaka for about 5 mins because he was so tired. For some reason, they also got away with KD on Pau for 5-6 minutes.
If people actually watched games, it's baffling how much Lebron has to do for Miami, even if Bosh was playing. Wade is really letting the team down in a big way. Hopefully he sees what WB is doing and show up tomorrow with the same mindset. WB won this game for OKC. He scored like 8 straight points when they were down by 13 with 8 minutes left to keep them in the game. And Durant won it. Kobe man.... Bynum had a whopping THREE shots the whole 2nd half. Bynum should punched his entire team in the face for completely ignoring him every time.
Kobe was hot all night and then threw up bricks in crunch time. He's supposed to be the most clutch player on earth.
You know what's wrong with this photo? Those two idiots in the background. That Justin dude from American Idol, and that chick from, i dunno, she's just a chick. Court side, don't know what the hell is going on.
