i thought we were hating on some hipster trying hard to look hip and formal at the same time. that and the fact its another white boy with an asian chick. he could be woth a buck and id be hating on him for that.

There's nothing wrong with the Asian chicks and White men. Just as much as there's nothing wrong with Asian guys.

I wouldn't think so, not that I would really care in the first place. You could replace asian or white with black, same thing. It's only two individuals who may or may not love each other, while the spectators (and sometimes the people themselves) may refer to certain stereotypes about one's own ethnic group. Most people just aren't very good (or even knowledgeable) at perceiving things beyond mere stereotypes.

You cannot generalize white men, though. I imagine some do sort of have a fetish, while others are simply attracted to the beauty or personality of an individual Asian woman.

i think the majority of white men (especially hipster types) who seek relations with non white females do it as an unconcious extension of their desire to rescue things: homeless animals from the streets, the environment from global warming, asian women from repressive patriachal societies, etc.

swings both ways. there are asian women who have a white guy fetish in part because they think white guy equates to raised status in whatever circle they run in. it doesnt shock me that there are asian women who prefer white guys sexually. they have been raised in a society where asian men are feminized and black men are treated as kids while white men are treated as the end all to what a male should be like: loud, brash, cocky, singleminded, dismissive of other mindsets different from their own.

 

So what if that Asian woman is just as accomplished, successful, and educated as the man.

Hell, can they just not like each other on a male and female level without any layering of sociological effects.

 

so what if shes just as accomplished. at the end of the day, shes still his asian woman and hes her white man. of course only repressive and intolerant cultures like the chinese side will notice this and never accept the relationship but at least the white males side will accept her with open arms once her family refuses to acknowledge her because she has disgraced the family name. mission accomplished: another saved asian girl

 

He could've done better (I'm sure there are plenty of attractive, trustworthy women out there that he could've had.
