You are trying to stretch the truth again. You really have a problem with this. I said that tm wasn't an "innocent youth", but instead a drug user. I never made a statement that he was innocent in the altercation with gz.
Your argument was that the THC in his system may have possibly caused paranoia. There have been several reports that the THC content in his system was so low that it wouldn't have affected his behavior. That means your argument is no longer possible. And you're faulting others for not considering it?
Why do we think he didn't approach him? Because Martin ran away from Zimmerman prior to that confrontation. Zimmerman himself confirms that. The friend he was speaking to on the phone at the time also confirmed it. It's obvious that Martin sought to avoid a confrontation at some point - Zimmerman obviously didn't. Furthermore, there's a witness who has come out and SMH @ It's ludicrous that and means that Martin was high and out committing crimes to some people. Wow. Lets get this straight the police themselves have confirmed that Zimmerman contends that Martin ran back, circled around his car, instigated a fight, and beat Zimmerman so brutally that he couldn't do anything but shoot him. The lead investigator and other police officials believe that was bull**** - the official statement being that This is how Zimmerman looked after Martin allegedly beat him: Zimmerman didn't believe his injuries were significant enough to go to the hospital for obvious reasons. We know that Zimmerman was somewhat of a bigot - not because of his myspace (only idiots make generalizations about people based on social media - hint: nolimitnigga). But because of incidents he had with former peers. A former coworker claims Another prior acquaintance of Zimmerman has claimed that he . Finally, an *eyewitness* of the incident Meaning that Zimmerman killed Martin when there was *no* threat to his life in the heat of the moment. That is why the prosecutor chose to pursue a murder 2 charge rather than manslaughter.
This whole thread centers on the altercation with GZ and the events surrounding it. If you're deviating from that, then you're making strawman arguments.
The last report I read Thursday stated that the Toxicology amount could not definitively prove one way or the other how intoxicated he was at the time. Not to mention, didn't I preface my statement with IF he had smoked it would have made him more paranoid. I didn't even say that he was paranoid because he smoked. I said he was probably paranoid, as I would be, because someone was following him. Perhaps nervous is a more appropriate word, as his fears were rational. I am faulting others for not considering other possibilities. If you think people in this forum are looking at this case objectively, you're out of your mind. I have not once stated anything that wasn't factual. Any kind of possible scenario I have prefaced with the words "it is possible that." Many of you are unwilling to even admit that there are other plausible scenarios of that night. I'll be back in half-hour to check your response, I am washing cars for mother's day.
We don't know for sure that TM was a drug user. He was never convicted of drug use, nor even arrested for any type of drug use. He may well have used mar1juana, but it isn't proven. Even with THC in his system, that could have come from being around somewhere where the mar1juana was being used. Yet in that instance you feel free not waiting for facts and convicting him in your own mind. Of course even if he used mar1juana that doesn't mean he isn't an innocent youth. Especially in regards with the incident with GZ, where Trayvon was shot and killed.
T.Mcgrady, Great post. Thanks for bringing up the original point that Zimmerman confirmed that Martin was avoiding Zimmerman. We got some amateur forensic scientists pointing out Martin's THC levels, when real forensic scientists have already spoken.
The defense will look at it like this: 1) The police didn't state any of this until after the public wanted their heads for not arresting Zimmerman. 2) Those statements by Zimmerman's friend/colleague will have to be corroborated by testimony. 3) They will pick apart every witness who can not undeniably say that Zimmerman instigated the fight. As for Martin being involved in criminal activity, besides the pot smoking (which shouldn't be illegal to begin with :/) I don't think a single person here thinks Martin was involved in anything illegal that night, other than possibly smoking. Even Tex can acknowledge this fact. Everyone is completely aware that Martin didn't deserve to be shot, even if some mysterious video showing Martin starting the fight surfaces, I still wouldn't blame Martin. If someone is following you, you do 1 of 2 things, fight or flight. There is NO definitive proof either way. So all I am saying is Zimmerman will not be proven guilty. I have no doubt about that. That is unless more evidence is released. Back to the cars...
I pointed out he had THC in his system, I didn't say he definitely smoked that night. I said it was possible, and that the details available Thur. said that they could not determine the amount of intoxication. The toxicology was done the following day, not the same night.
Too bad most of mcgrady's post was irrelevant conjecture and irrelevant information. He's biased and very emotionally invested in this whole episode. He's "cheering" for GZ to get convicted.
Irrelevant conjecture? Maybe to you. I provided a hell of a lot more substance (in the form of direct quotes) than any of the other 99999 posts you've graced us with in this thread. That post embodied exactly what's wrong with you. 240 pages later this nonsense continues. There's a big difference between how trueroxfan frames his argument and how you do you bigot.
...and then you lose it and resort to insults. when you have to resort to insults, you've lost any conversation with adults you have to learn to keep your cool, brah
yeah, and based on my personal experiences rednecks are stupid. I guess that means all rednecks are really dumb and uneducated.
Actually, I can agree with that one... Texx, I generally ignore most of your posts, but it's gone on too long. Can you please stop referring to Martin as "the black" You can't possibly think this portrays anything but ignorant racism...
lol I referred to him as that exactly once, and immediately stopped when others preferred that I call him African-American. I have no problem calling him African-American. I'm no racist.
I can't verify that, as I can't search your posts, nor am I going to take the time to look at every page of this thread. You may have only used that racist statement only once, and you may in fact not be a racist, but you have to realize that a lot of HOW you say things comes off as racist.
You accuse me of something, then you claim you cannot verify it? Get a clue. If I need your opinion, I'll tell it to you.
LOL, I didn't say you had to accept my opinion of you. I accused you of making racist comments, I can very much verify that. I didn't accuse you of being a racist. I said your comments make you come off as a racist. Which is undeniably true... I didn't realize I needed permission to post my opinion of you.
