Recent Rockets marketing material: He also got a post-season interview on the website posted here recently: http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/q_with_chandler_parsons_2012_05_08.html If Parsons were the exact same player, except that he looked like this: would he have received the same degree of acclaim?
As if playing Scola and Patterson on the court at the same time wasn't enough to dampen my spirits, now they have them on the same poster as well.
Goodbye, Kyle. Auf Wiedersehen, Kevin. Seriously, though. Lowry and Martin might be the first on the "trade talks" list. Lowry because he's the most valuable trade piece they have, and his value might be best utilized in a trade for help at another position if Dragic comes back. Martin because he (1) is pretty productive, (2) is on an expiring contract, and (3) doesn't seem that happy since Adelman left.
It makes sense. Dragic is a free agent. Lowry might be valuable trade bait if the Rockets keep Dragic. And Martin's time in Houston is done. Parsons is young, exciting to watch, and is unlikely to be traded due to his productivity vs contract.
