thats why I hate Kobe. I just read the first 3 sentences. this guy summed it up nicely. http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshhfLApMGkgZ7RJF8YG
I don't like his cocky attitude nor his selfish play at times but at the end of the day he is one of the best basketball players i have ever watched and for that I commend him.
What Kobe said in the first three lines, I wish alot of other athletes could say and put reporters in their place with their dumb questions and nitpicking, yet useless analysis.
This is one of the reasons I pull for Kobe despite the things about him that annoy me. Mentally tough as nails. Work ethic.
Say what you want. There was not as muh technology or media coverage back in mjs prime or plenty of his words would have been recorded
I did say what I wanted MJ and Kobe think just about the same...but MJ worried about his brand more. Kobe doesn't have much of a brand, compared to MJ, so he's less worried about offending people at this point of his career.
Shoot, according to books written about MJ and private accounts from people close to him, he's saying exactly what Mike used to.
Yes, mostly according to second hand information, not direct quotes from him. And i should have been more clear, I'm referring to their delivery, not the point they're making. MJ made similar points, but he didn't cuss that openly and frequently when making them. You can't build a brand like his by frequently using profanity when you speak to the media.
Kobe referring to his 7-27 in pressure situations. You read that **** Kobe. Don't act like you don't.
I am pretty sure Kobe cares how people see him. It is also true that he doesn't let mistakes, pressure, and criticism affect his game like some other players do. Those are two different things. Kobe makes it like they are the same.
