    Trades:
    Houston gets: Bosh, M.Miller
Miami gets: Lowry, Scola, Dalembert, Morris
    - Miami probably should deal Wade, but that's unlikely to occur. They upgrade at the 1 and 5, while getting a solid offensive 4 in Scola.

    Houston gets: Iguodala
Philly gets: Martin, 2013 1st (unprotected)
    - Turner and Iggy are redundant, and Iggy's presence hinders Turner's development. Martin is a much better fit beside him, and a pick sweetens the deal.

    Houston gets: #9 pick
    Detroit gets: #14 pick, Patterson
    - Detroit needs a big, and there will be plenty in that range (Zeller, Henson, Leonard, Moultrie etc), definitely enough to trade back. Patterson only adds more depth to their frontcourt.

    Houston gets: #28 pick
    OKC gets: Budinger
    - OKC could use a backup to KD, and get a guy who can contribute right away.

    Draft
    #9: PF/SF Perry Jones III
    - Mostly for upside. Has potential at either forward spot, and we need to try to develop him.
    #14: C Meyers Leonard
    - To develop behind Camby. Has the size and skills, just needs weight and polish.
    #28: PG Scott Machado
    - He's a safe pick who has excellent PG instincts.

    Free Agency
    - Re-sign Goran Dragic after dealing Lowry, guaranteeing the starting spot. Offer around 5 years, 38 mil.
    - Extend the QO to Courtney Lee.
    - Re-sign Camby for cheap, who has implied he wants to stay around and finish his career here.
    - Sign OJ Mayo at around 6-7 mil a year. He has struggled in his off-the-bench role, but he needs a coach who believes in him and a starting spot. He was dynamite in his first year - if we can get his mental state in check, he'd be a steal.
    - Sign Ish Smith for cheap and a big like Darrell Arthur, who Memphis will likely not keep around...and is relatively forgotten about due to a recent injury, but is still young and solid. Maybe sign a veteran C like N.Mohammed for a year or two as welll.

    Lineup
Marcus Camby - Nazr Mohammed - Donatas Motiejunas (R)
Chris Bosh - Darrell Arthur - Donatas Motiejunas (R) - Perry Jones III (R)
Andre Iguodala - Chandler Parsons - Mike Miller - Perry Jones III (R)
OJ Mayo - Courtney Lee - Mike Miller
Goran Dragic - Ish Smith - Scott Machado (R)

Bosh would get to be the first option, though he wouldn't get too much attention due to the presence of Iggy/Mayo/Dragic, all of whom are strong shot creators.

So, Miami downgrades from Wade to Martin in order to get Dalembert and the #16 pick...?

they'd be a better team. they have no center, wade controls the ball to much and can't hit the transition three like k-mart can. Their roster get more balanced and deeper.

You're actually asking why Dalembert, Martin and #16 for the best shooting guard in the league and a top 5 player is bad for the Heat?

You should just give up on this whole basketball thing and take up gardening.

you didn't answer the question. how does this trade make the heat a worse team. they'd be a deeper , more balanced team if anything. nad really gardening? I'm just making suggestions here, I know i'm no expert. If you're not gonna answer the quesion then just keep quiet.

While a center does make them more rounded team, they are taking $0.50 back on the $1

    J. Taylor, imo, would be a better pickup than Beal or Lamb. These two remind me of younger Martins. All score, no D. Thats not to say any thing negative towards them. Martin has and still is one of the leagues dangerous shooters. I just think we should better defense at those positions without giving up the scoring.

^^^A rookies first head coach / team plays a lot into how that rookie plays on court aka playing time in games. Morris could put up 15+pts. on most given nights in the NBA, IMO, but there is little playing time for him. KMH believes in playing on both ends of the court and the Rocket have better two-way players in front of him. If he played for another team (fit /need/coach) he MAY have been on the all-rookie team.

    Nice post Coach

Lamb reminds me somewhat of martin, but beal? I don't see any resemblance in their games at all. From what I watched of him, his defense was pretty good. You go and get Beal if possible. He's one of the few 2-way SGs in this draft.

You can argue taylor would be better pickup than Lamb (I disagree with that), but Beal is much better of a pickup than Taylor.

Miami - losing Bosh or Wade for Scola, Lowry, Martin, Patterson, and Morris.

The Heat will not win a title with LeBron James on the team.
