Bosh is a very solid player. No question about that. But the Heat's problems have more to do with the talent dropoff in post play than it does losing Bosh's skills.

The Heat's problem is Wade sucking, not Bosh missing v. this Pacers team. They can beat the Pacers without Bosh.

But when Wade doesn't score, doesn't rebound, doesn't pass, doesn't lead, doesn't defend.... see the trend.

Wade needs to check himself in the mirror and man up in game 4. Although Lebron will still get all the blame nationally if the Heat lose regardless, Wade will be ridiculed in his own locker room.

Here's my question: Who would the Heat have fared the last two games if they had, say, Luis Scola to play Bosh's minutes? How would they have fared if they had Udonis Haslem from a year or two ago to play Bosh's minutes?

He's a good player. If he were playing, then the Heat would have 3 of the best 13 players, in terms of talent.

In terms of heart, focus, intensity, preparation, killer instinct, toughness, leadership, basketball IQ, etc? They'd still have very few (zero?) of the top 10 players in those categories, with or without him.

If the Pacers substituted Bosh (an admittedly superior player) for David West in their lineup, they would suffer greatly, for losing all of those things in the 2nd category.

This series in not over and I have never guaranteed anything, or suggested anything would be easy. A #3 seed tops a #2 seed 50% of the time in a 7 game series in the NBA, so I certainly expected a battle. So far though, it hasn't been difficult. Without a bad 4th Q in game 1 it would be 3-0.

Yes, it's only 2-1 but you must be delusional in thinking the heat aren't in trouble.

LOL.. nobody on Earth had ever called Chris Bosh "the best midrange shooter on the planet" until there was a need to make excuses for Wade and Lebron

Why has Haslem been so bad this playoffs? He used to be a very solid midrange shooter and rebounder. It's not like he's old. Has he not recovered fully from his injury last year?

Less problematic than not having Bosh is having Joel Anthony, Haslem(current, horrible version), and Turiaf. Pat Riley may have brought together the big 3, but the supporting cast he gave them is nothing short of being putrid.

They could easily be down 3-0. They've been outplayed throughout the series. Also, Lebron and Wade are only going to get more tired logging in these crazy minutes.

You completely missed the point of half of this article. The Writer claims that Wade is significantly worse when he doesn't have a solid mid-range shooter rolling to the basket, AKA Bosh.

Let me clarify. The OP states that not only are the heat missing Bosh's production, but that they are also missing a significant portion of Wade's production because of Bosh's absence.
