Right. Pacertom thinks the pacers are a super team just whipping up on Miami when in reality, Miami is just relaxed and going through the motions and giving those games away. They will wake up when they need to and I'll be laughing out loud at our resident pacer homer, pacertom.
Sounds like a rah-rah endorsement for the Pacers team. But in reality - to win in the NBA, you need superstars. Just ask Phil Jackson the recipe for his 11 rings.
Superstars, quality role players, and a coach to bring it all together. Miami only has one of those things.
Pacers are a legit, well-rounded team. Whether Miami is purposefully rolling over or not, I'm not sure. But either way, Miami isn't good enough (without Bosh), nor are the Pacers bad enough, for Miami to not take them seriously and to write off games like that.
Guys, this is all Karma. Lebron changed his life around, worked with Hakeem this summer on how to be more Humble, how to have class and how to be a good father. He's no longer smug or arrogant - and the stars have now aligned for him. Bosh is out, Wade has a lower leg injury and is basically out. Battier and the crew stink, so basically you have Lebron, right now, back in his Cleveland days. The only guy on the team. Now is his time to shine, and he will. He'll pull the Heat out of this and his credibility and respect will be restored - the universe and planets have aligned for him.
i know this is terrible and very pessimistic (could be the vodka talking) but without landing a superstar thru free agency or trade am I wrong that the kinda of team Indiana has put together is the ceiling Morey's magic could reach with the rockets?
You guys are acting like Indiana just won the championship. They are up 2-1 in the eastern conference semis against a banged up, lethargic team. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
and if he doesn't, he can go back to the old Cleveland excuse of, "my supporting cast wasn't good enough." how perfect!
Dude, lebron isnt going to leave his wife for you. He may have made a bunch of empty promises to you in bed but thats all they were.
I thought you said that the "Heat will roll without Bosh" and that he didn't, and wouldn't, make much of an impact?
The rockets are always a good healthy big man away from any success. i was watching an old youtube clip from the tnt crew discussing hakeem vs. ewing and man do i miss Dream. And yes Shaq was honest about 1995 in it. Saying Dream was the only guy to ever flat out embarrass him on court.
