    It's not fair how many bad things happen to some people who do not deserve them.

    At least it sounds like Manny is not in a life-threatening condition anymore.

    So these surgeries are mostly to save his arm and he doesn't have anything that is directly life threatening?

    From what I can gather it seems like he's having surgery today to clean up bone fragments and then a "major" surgery on Monday. Not sure of the specifics but he is at least able to move around a little bit.

    This isn't surprising. When I broke my femur in a motorcycle accident I had a surgery where they cleaned up and pinned together the various pieces of bone floating around in my leg. Later I had another surgery to put a rod down the middle of the bone.

    Ah that makes sense. I was wondering what the major surgery could possibly be, that would qualify.
