I don't watch trash basketball, which I assumed from the play-by-play. You're most likely right. This is where Wade comes in. He really needs to maintain that "edge" when Lebron is off the floor. LBJ came out like a gang buster tonight in the first. All Wade had to do was man the fort till LBJ came back. Seriously though, I don't know what is up with Wade. He's been terrible for most of the playoffs. I'm sure LBJ will play better and impose his will more in game 4. But Wade needs to step up big time.
I still don't totally trust the Pacers, even after tonight. But I AM saying they are clearly the superior team and if they don't rattle, this series is done. Miami doesn't have it in them to play 3 more stellar games. The only possible way for them to win 3 more times is for the Pacers to implode and give it to them. "Come on man" yourself. Your are delusional if you don't acknowledge the Heat are in deep deep trouble. I'm guessing you don't want to admit any doubt until after it's all done just in case you turn out to be right. Repeating your same old lines from earlier does not impress. It means you are empty of anything to offer as debatable points. But it's not surprising since you are just a troll.
This goes back to my posts from earlier today: Because the Heat only have 2 good players, the Pacers are getting better at making it difficult for them to be efficient over an entire game. If both guys explode in the 1st half but the Heat don't build a big lead, a collapse is likely coming in the 2nd half as exhaustion destroys their jumpshots and the Pacers pack it in.
I will be able to watch game 4. It's definitely going to be interesting. If the Heat lose that game.... Someone's getting fired/traded.
The problem is that Wade and Lebron are the same type of player. It was said when they joined together and now that Bosh is out it shows. Great team defense always wins against great dribble drive guys, it just always does. That's why having a big man like Bosh is imperative, hell if they had just a decent guy that could bang, and hit some shots off a pick and pop they would be fine. Now though it's not going to matter if Wade is on the floor or Lebron, they are defended the same and unless they get hot or unless the Pacers try to speed the game too much then It's going to be very difficult for the Heat to pull this off without Bosh.
Wade and LeBron dont fit together at ALL. Both of them can't even hit a three to save their lives. They just don't mix well together, they are more ISO players using a pick to get to the lane. Hibbert is a beast downlow, he just puts his hands up every time and gets nearly every ball swatted.
They remind me of the Bulls in essence with their defense and rebounding. Difference is, Pacers have 2 big time post up players which has been utilized most of the series. LeBron fronting West can be very tiring for him.
Battier can't guard West though. He can't front him as well and this game showed. Granger's defense has been flying under the radar this series imo. He's been guarding LBJ pretty well. George on the other hand has been shutting down Wade.
Exactly, I've been saying this several times and in other threads too. They are not exactly the same player, Lebron can do more...but how they score is pretty much the same. They drive into the lane, look for fouls, and are great finishers around the rim. Sometimes their shot is on and they become unstoppable. That's done with though, because the Pacers no longer have to worry about Bosh draining open mid range jumpers. Now they can collapse into the lane and only worry about a guy like Chalmers or Battier or some other scrub heat player.
Heat need to sign Fab Melo or Oden next season or they will be in trouble for the next few years, opposing teams overpower them inside and will always hold an advantage. Saw that with the Mavs last year and now in the Pacers series.
I didnt know the Heat had a chance at getting Fab Melo. Oden could work but I doubt he will be healthy enough to play for a few years at least.
Interested to hear your thoughts on this, A_3PO. I find the NBA player-coach dynamic difficult to understand-- when I played in high school I never remember seeing anything like this. There were times me or some of the other guys would be upset with the coach in terms of what he wanted done but we always kept it amongst each other. I thought Wade was so clearly in the wrong in this game that I can't understand how he could blame Spoelstra for anything. I don't particularly like Spoelstra and he's obviously not a great coach but I remember reading a fair amount of articles that portrayed him as being at least reasonable.
Listen, we dont know if LeBron will step up come game 4. It is likely but there is a chance of him giving up on this team too. Game 5 against Cs or last year Finals anyone? This is why they callit a team sports. They really have no team. It looked to me their role players played a bit better (especially Chalmers) but this time it was Wade. What I am trying to say, with the presonel they have they almost have to play great every night to be competitive against best teams of the NBA. I belive it is difficult for LeBron (was last night) to go 1 on 5 even with his talents when you have 5 scorers in front of you and 4 guys more being able to score comming off the bench. And Jesus, Wade needs to get real.
Damn, I might have to watch this which I haven't since the Rockets gone for vacation. I did watch Tim Legler predicted that the Pacers will win game 3 earlier in the day, but will lose it in a long series. I love to see Heat get plastered, so this gathering of Super Teams is nothing, but hype.
I applaud the minions. Wow. They've allowed the pacers to do as much bumping and holding as the b*****n divas. If the minions let it continue, this phenomenon of calling or not calling certain calls both ways, then Miami will crumble.
Dahntay Jones swagger  That look... Guess he got tired of celebrating all night haha Celebrating too early?
