And what Hibbert did tonight really was what he should be doing. He is 7'2". Nobody on that Miami team should be able to guard his hook shots. The one guy who consistently performed in this series has been David West. Same thing -- taking advantage of Miami's weak frontline without Bosh. Indiana's perimeter players finally had a good game and this is the result. Without Bosh Miami needs Lebron and Wade to bring their A games against a good balanced team like Indiana. When they don't games like tonights' are expected.
Wade-Spo confrontation for those that missed it: <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/cLEa_cVI6CM?version=3&feature=player_embedded"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/cLEa_cVI6CM?version=3&feature=player_embedded" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="360"></object>
Wait, you can't judge a trade that went down 6 years ago based on performance 6 years later? And here I thought the Thorpe for Clyde trade ended up being a pointless one because Clyde put up 0/0/0/0/0 6 years after joining the Rockets.
Trade Wade to Houston for Martin, Lowry, & Dalembert. Add some of Miami's bad contracts to make it work, and the Heat can have 2 superstars, and actually go 7 deep. Heck, trade Houston's whole starting 5 for Wade.
lol I didn't know Lance Stephenson did the choke sign. Funny considering he's an NBA scrub that was touted as the next Lebron in HS.
I started watching with 5 mins left in the 1st half and left for the gym with 4 mins left in the game when it was clearly out of reach. I didn't think it would be so humiliating for Miami, but the Pacers winning game 3 should surprise nobody. The series became theirs for the taking the minute Bosh went down. I just found out Dexter Pittman started tonight. What an incredibly stupid idea to put a cold, unaccomplished player into such a hot situation. Spoelstra has lost his mind. Speaking of that, D-Wade has too. Whatever the reason for Wade's eruption on the bench, my guess is it goes back further than Spoelstra calling Wade out on not hustling after the missed shot. Their relationship could be irreparably broken and Spoelstra won't return as coach next season. Having two days off will help Miami but I doubt it's enough for them to win game 4 if the Pacers come to play. In fact, unless LeBron finds his outside shot and goes bombs away, Heat shouldn't win another game. If they do, it will be the Pacers failure. They have figured out how to stop Miami's offense, which is to force LeBron to take mid-range and long jumpers. Maybe they fall in the 1st half when his energy level is high, but at some point he'll get tired and start bricking. All the Pacers have to do is keep their composure, play solid on both ends, avoid gambling too much and don't commit stupid fouls. Doing that will get them into the ECFs. Unless the Pacers crumble and choke, the Heat cannot beat them 3 more times. They are the superior team now and seem to know it.
It has finally caught up with this team...they are folding under the immense pressure...James doesnt wanna say it...Wade feels it...Spo is just trying to survive...The Heat know this..this is their title year...they win...or the team is broken apart...Spo will get fired...and Bosh could be shipped...Seriously...how much more differnt would it have been...if these players did it the right way...Karma has a weird way of putting players in their place...A team with better chemistry will always beat a team with stars...every time...Ask the Lakers(vs Pistons)...heat vs mavs...
Not karma at all. If Lebron stayed in Cleveland he probably doesn't make it to the finals last year. If Bosh stayed in Toronto or went to Houston he doesn't make it to the finals last year. If Wade stayed in Miami without those two joining him he would still be miserable in Miami. Not sure what karma has to do with it especially when one of the most humble NBA players went down in the playoffs with an injury. Enough with the karma and just realize a key player on their team went down. Every knew or should have known that if Bosh,James, or Wade went down then Miami chances at a title was over.
