The NBA would be much better if more players played like KG instead of acting like friends on the court and smiling at each other smh
Going a little too far, imo. Magic/Bird/Jordan/Hakeem didn't have to stoop to the absolutely r****ded sh-t KG does in order to be ultra-competitive.
Well I'm talking about today's game. It's soft and hardly any hate. The playoffs this year is one example of that. Only been two testy series. and the Memphis/Cippers testy series wouldn't even be considered physical back in the day. Not comparing KG to MJ and them I'm saying he makes the game more entertaining than these other superstars who like their opponents.
It's mostly his defensive game that had dropped off alot. Not saying that his defense is bad now, but he used to be a defensive beast.
Lol KG is all bark and no bite. Great player in his prime, but he's a fake tough guy. It's cool to see him and Duncan rewind the hands of time in these playoffs. KG has to do more though due to him not having as great of a supporting cast as Duncan.
How about getting a wish like "Happy mothers day, MF'er !" right in a mothers day game (beetween SA & Minny waay back then), while knowing that TD has lost his mother as a 14 yrs old teenage (and rightfully a mommy's boy that time as the youngest child). It's one thing to act tough by thrash talking, but being classy is just out of Garnett's league.
again, I thought that was my point. Rodman in the '96 finals also told Malone that he thinks he is sweaty and hot and to "sweat on me more" because "I'm better than young girls" knowing Karl has homophobia...and hence the whole scene where they rolled over each other on the way back up the court. what? That's not true?
I remember reading an article that said Ron Artest whispers strange homosexual stuff into players ears while guarding them. I really wish they would mic up some exciting players and release it online instead of on ESPN so we could hear what they say.
