Dude! You're totally forgetting the $40.15 in his pocket. That much change on a black can only mean one thing. AMIRITE?
That is irrelevent is gz a doctor was he looking TM in his eyes when he made this statement to the dispatcher gz was guessing.
Prove were TM attacked gz oh are you just going off what GZ said because we can't ask Martin what happen.
How do you know martin was the aggressor that's something we will not know because there is only one person still alive that knows the truth.
The lesson Bigtexx and Co are saying is actually quite reasonable to me on this one. If you are a minority, wearing a hoodie, and carrying a lighter...and some dude comes chasing you...you better lie down and surrender or you will be shot and labeled a criminal type.
he had drugs in his system. could he have just sold some drugs? is $40 a lot of money for a high schooler to be carrying? ....and if he had a lighter, is that just something he always carries around?
what is more complex about it? He didn't have drugs on him, or a weapon. He didn't instigate the action. He didn't go looking for a fight - he ran away from one. At some point, he decided to fight. Many people here would do the exact same thing. And because he was black and looked like the criminal type - he got shot. What is more complex than that?
Could he have been around users and subsequently been exposed while not using himself? Is it, especially just a couple weeks after his birthday? Could he have lit a candle at his father's and placed it in his pocket while leaving for the store?
An autopsy by the Volusia County Medical Examiner on Martin's body found that the teenager was killed by a shot to the heart and that traces of THC -- or tetrahydrocannabinol, the active ingredient in mar1juana -- were found in Martin's blood, though below the level that medical studies indicate would have caused "performance impairment." http://openchannel.msnbc.msn.com/_n...ooting-ultimately-avoidable-by-zimmerman?lite Unlikely considering he didn't live there. Not for a high schooler on vacation. Who cares?
I honestly don't think race played a factor in Zimmerman's motives. Do I know that for sure, no and nobody else does either. I think he was just an over zealous person who was armed and much like a football helmet it gives people this false sense that nothing bad will happen to them so they act on things they probably shouldn't.
How could race not play a role? If he saw a white guy he never seen before walking around his neighborhood would he have done the same thing? I don't think so. I am not saying he's a racist. I am just saying race played a roll in him assessing this person as a threat.
