I am ok with stating with HTC as long as the new one is not simply the same old EVO with a different radio in it. Is there a specs comparison that actually tells real-world performance between the two models?

And is Sprint going to get a version of the Galaxy S3 ? Saw the Samsung Galaxy Note at Best Buy the other day, looked kind of cool, but I am not really big on Samsung phones in general, and you are right, I would not touch an LG with a ten-foot pole.

This I will definitely agree on. I still see five year old Macbooks go for more than $500.

I'd be lucky to get $400 for my two year old Windows machine.

Is that what you use for your music video editing? I'd say that's a pretty niche task. I agree with Moes in that for general compututing, there isn't much difference, but to each their own.

No need to compare the original EVO to the new EVO in terms of Specs. It's a blow-out lol.

I'll just post the specs of the new one for you. (Different battery, processor, GPU, screen, radio-chipset, etc)

I'm about 100% positive Sprint will get the GS3. Not sure about the Note though.

    You don't get it.

Apple products bridge the gap whenever a stylish yet contemporary lifestyle just isn't enough.

Apple is the opiate for the young, hip-tech masses.

I'm so much better than all of you because I don't conform to the machine.

SO MUCH BETTER THAN ALL OF YOU.

There are people in China willing to pay 1000 dollars for an iPhone. It gets made there, shipped to and bought here under contract then, shipped back and sold for a mark-up. What strange times we live in.

I have owned Apple products, an iPod that served me well before it broke. I have messed around on Macbooks and iMacs, and I have failed to see what separated them from PC.

Sorry I don't bow down and worship the mothership like the rest of you skinny jean twats that wait in line for days.

Steve Jobs truly was a genius. Sold sleek, white, personal validation for twice the going rate.

I had a PC from my teen years up through grad school and into my 30's. I always stayed away from macs bc of the price tag. I mean, a PC laptop for $600 or MacBook for $1500? Clearly, I was not gonna pay up unnecessarily.

Then, I went through a 6 year period where I went through 4 laptops. Now, it's true that I may be an idiot with preventing viruses or whatnot, but everyone of those laptops experienced major slow down after a year. Two of them, the screen stopped working and the cost to repair was almost as much as the original price tag. Also, the battery life would drastically decrease over relatively short periods of time.

Last May, I bought a MacBook Air. Decided I was tired of the constant slow down, poor battery life, and replacement of PCs. It's been almost one year...I've had 2 or 3 instances where I've had to reboot the computer bc the screen froze. Other than that, I've had no battery issues, no slowdown issues...everything has been as smooth as silk. I dont anticipate running into any issues either...I can confidently say that my laptop will give me a good 5-6 years. At a $1500 price tag, it's more than worth it for me.

Plus, when the next OS comes out for it, it will cost around $30 to upgrade it (as well as up to 4 other Macs).

Yeah, I get it, its less easy to **** up the Apple OS.

I'd love for my parents to get one, because they **** their PC up within weeks with spyware and stupid ****.

As for me though, I can always back up my files and do a reinstall, run spyboy S&D, avoid IE like the plague, and all the other stuff.
